What did you make the tombstone out of??
The base material is foam and then I paper mache clay over the sides for strength.

How do you make your "clay"? Can you share the ratios please? Sounds like exactly what I need!
Sure thing...The mix is toilet paper (the cheap stuff), joint compound, and elmers glue. Soak the tp overnight (unroll it in water), grind up, squeeze out the water, then mix with joint compound and glue. I usually do three rolls of tp, three large scoops with my hand of compound, and about 4-5 cups of glue. You want the consistency to be like cake frosting. if it is too dry, add more glue. Make sure you mix it thoroughly. Let the clay dry completely before sealing or painting! Have fun :)

Big fan of your work. Gotta ask you, what is your recipe for your paper machete clay?
Clay recipe: 3 rolls of cheap toilet paper unrolled into a bucket of water, soaked for several hrs then chopped up with a hand blender and squeezed dry. Add about three big handfulls of joint compound about 4-5 cups of white glue. Mix well, should be sticky like cake icing but not too sticky or not too dry. You can always add more glue for a smoother feel. if you keep it covered, it will last for quite a while. Reduce portions of ingredients for a smaller batch (I use a lot of it on my projects so hence the portion size).

Looking good! Don't know if you watch The Mandalorian TV show but in Season 2 there is an episode where those little critters (one your sculpting) are hanging out in a tree. Lots of reference material. :)

Wow! What an impressive haunt! Can I ask what foam you used to make the bricks? Looking to do something similar this year
The foam for the bricks were leftover chunks from shipping/packaging plus I'm friends with a local industrial foam place that gives me their scraps :) Good luck haunting! Enjoy.
