This yellowfin surgeonfish is called pualu in Hawaiian.
And YES eel
What is that
The winged fish is called a flying gurnard. I thought the eel and the gurnard were going to fight it out but gurnard moved out of the way :)
Very pretty
А ты маладес👍
Thank you
Красива😮😊
Making a wish
I've only seen one with a horn so far.
Maybe a sea sponge
I think something like a sea sponge and not a fish. It looks pretty stationary.
Frog fish? Coral?
Bros got that war paint
Very pretty
That is GORGEOUS!!! I'm sooooo jealous!!!❤❤
That is a long name for a trigger fish😂.
It's a little camera shy
Definitely. I haven't seen another octopus yet.
What striking colors
I wish I could get that close to a sea turtle
I was worried that the turtle was going to go away but I think he was too busy feasting to notice!
@waikikitoday good job on the filming mate
Thank you!
Aka bait stealer
Hagi or black trigger
Humuhumu'ele'ele in Hawaiian :)
Pretty
More eels YES
This guy was a big one for sure.
That's some really good camo
I love the final camo move at the end of the clip where he flutters and whips up the sand to cover himself.
@@waikikitoday I know right it hard to believe sometimes how smart and cool some animals survival strategies are
The water is so clear compared to the atlantic
On some days, this place is crystal clear and other days it is less so. I think the water visibility vary based on the wind/swell conditions.
@@waikikitoday interesting
Ive never seen something like that
Me too! It doesn't even look like a fish.
I love eels
I have another short clip on my YT channel. Check it out.
@@waikikitoday subbed for eels and other fish
I don't think that is an eel. That looks like a venomous type of water snake.
I think these guys are called "snowflake moray eels". I'm not sure if they are venomous but I certainly would keep my distance.
@@waikikitoday I'm no zoologist; but yeah, if you don't know, don't touch.
