This is the biggest european lizard, best known for its amazing colour and fearless behaviour.
The Ocellated Lizard can reach up to 90cm and it can be found in Portugal, Spain, south-western France and north-western Italy.
Status: Near Threatened (NT) on the IUCN Red List.
