One of the best food videos I have seen am travelling on sky Princess soon am now looking forward to it the only thing you have not mentioned is ie the meat feast is $49 you don’t mention the 18% gratuity which puts another £6 - 8 on price.

Excellent content I’ll be sailing on her in October of this year when she comes to the U.S for the Caribbean season. In the past the cover charge included the gratuity is that still true or do you leave a separate gratuity

Just a heads up if you’re intermittent fasting. Drinking Latte breaks the fast because of the milk. Black coffee (no sugar obviously) is fine. I’m going to assume you’re doing 16:8

Was just in Funchal and loved it. We will be back next year. We thought the cost of food and drink was super. I can understand rents are high, living in Ireland we are crucified on everything. We did a super market shop and fell over with the cost we got so much for our money it was a big eye opener.

I want to say how much I love your videos, you come across them in such a natural way and they are very informative too, keep them going. I love Madeira, we went there two years ago and fell in love with it, to me it looks like the perfect place to live and maybe one day we will. Enjoy your stay in Madeira.

There is less than 260.000 people on the whole island, is a very boring place, but in general it depends on who you are. Do you like cosplay and attending to comic cons?, Madeira is not for you. Do you like go out to the forest and find snakes, geckos and interesting arthropods? Madeira is not for your. Do you expect find in the wild interesting fauna, nop, not here, go to south east asian, Australia, central America or south America. For birders folks, there is only 2 or 3 endemic species of birds, does it worth the trip here instead of a mega diverse place? I'll leave that answers to you. Do you like to buy online, well get ready to wait more time for your stuff, and in many cases it won't be shipped to the island. There are not much Spanish people but venezuelans, yes, many. People here struggle a lot for money and housing. Do you like to keep and breed reptiles and arthropods? Madeira is not for you. Do you hate being "lock" on a tiny piece of land where the only access is by aircraft then madeira is not for you. If you need to work for money locally (on a local place), well... You probably won't like madeira. Most people is nice with tourist because they bring the money, and is their job, not necessarily because the are "nice" by nature and want to be you friend. Do you want to enjoy the local trips and activities? You will need a big bag of money, because is so expensice that the local can't enjoy it, and if they do it is at a significant financial sacrifice. If you are a beach person, you won't like madeira., There are not natural white sand beaches here, only two artificially made (with sand brought from Morocco), 99.9% of the beaches are rocky like a river in the mountains, and in most of them the current will move the small rocks on the seabed and made them roll over your feet and hurt you. Some beaches are dangerous, people have died here in the beaches and the mountains. Yes, crime is low. But the occasional shank happens, if you are on the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm from Madeira and i've never ate espada with banana, I think its something just to fool the tourists. Espetada + bolo do caco + milho frito + french fries is my favorite dish Bolo de mel and broas de mel are top top, we eat a lot during xmas. Prego em bolo do caco is good. Queijada is a simple cake but one of my favorites.

Everything looked so good and so much variety! That blueberry pudding dish was my fave and what I’d have picked!
