Kindle Unlimited is $11.99 a month, and $11.99 for 3 months for first time subscribers. You also get three months free when you buy a kindle. It’s kinda like Netflix for books. When you subscribe to Netflix you don’t get to keep the movies when the subscription expires. I believe if you decide to purchase the book or resubscribe to KU and borrow the book again the annotations will remain but I could be wrong. It’s a good way to try out genres and books that you are interested in but might not want to own forever in your kindle. My only issue is that I never get around to reading any of the books I have borrowed before the month runs out because my tbr is so long so there are months I’ve paid for the subscription and didn’t use it 😅

You should check out for a kobo. It reads any pdf and you can link you library card to it :)

yeh, I made my goal one book this year cuz I was getting so caught up in the numbers but had to take a step back and remember why I started reading cuz I think it’s super easy to try and read books just to hit a goal which isn’t bad but it just didn’t make me feel good! This was so interesting!! Harry 100% best character, are we kidding?? And idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I didn't really care for evelyn and celia's relationship after their first breakup 😬😬 don't get me wrong, I loved seeing them happy together in old age but celia was just super privileged and ignorant and sure, evelyn isn't perfect but I'll always defend her. Celia would just never be able to understand everything that evelyn had to go through to become an actress to begin with and then because of how privileged she is she can't look at life realistically and doesn't even try to. Like, sorry evelyn's just trying to protect you from getting hate crimed? And I know evelyn did stupid crap to maintain a career she didn't even care about but that just stems from her background and everything she wanted to prove whereas at the end of the day celia came from a rich white background and again, it's just different. But evelyn and harry's relationship was just so pure. They were always a team first and foremost and I love them for that
