Kansas City FOOD Tour! (Barbecue, sandwiches, ice cream, coffee shops and more!)
Просмотров 2622 месяца назад
We visited Kansas City to try multiple BBQ spots, an award winning sandwich, ice cream, cocktail bars, coffee shops and more! We tried 5 different BBQ spots, all of which we found something delicious at each. They also have some amazing coffee shops that offered coffee flights, which we loved! We both agreed that Kansas City was an underrated place that we can wait to explore more in the future...

In the first few minutes of your video, the different foods you named that you said you were looking forward to trying, I don't think any of them originated in London. If you want to come to the UK, then do just that, experience the UK,,,,,,London is most definitely NOT the UK, the UK is actually full of beautiful places, fresh air, nice and honest people, vast open spaces countryside beautiful traditional foods,,,,,,,,,,,London???????really

Our food can be amazing, our bad rep comes from the war and GI's. This is very annoying we were 2 years into the war so all food was restricted, so when they- Americans turned up 2 years late they had no idea how bad we had it. So the bad food is rubbish mind In the 70's our food was not great. Blackberry and apple crumble is by far the best combo, but it has to have Birds custard. I stir some double cream in the custard, naughty but wonderful.

The average British person doesn't intentionally get fish and chips from a pub. Its just on the menu more as a convenience as it's easy to sell if you do end up eating there. A chippy is the proper place locals go. There is a lot of the high end ones though which are more pricey as opposed to a chippy thats on a random street. You guys missed Eddie Burger! Best burgers made ever, in Banff! Warning from a 46yr local Albertan, suggestion for your next visit, because Alberta will always welcome you: Banff is not our typical food, it's VERY expensive & touristy.... after landing in Calgary, should've ventured more South for stunning prairie, foothills landscapes (and windy lol), where Hollywood comes to film westerns, or north towards Red Deer, or Edmonton (blue collar hardworking, industry city) with excellent food options, and majestic riverviews.....then head west to Jasper, which is way less pretentious and more authentic, then Banff....experiencing Alberta's rural beauty and it's laid-back, engaging local people. Banff you're meeting people from around the world who come to work seasonally in our province.

This was our first time to Banff/Canada in general so we wanted to see the beauty of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake but we would love to explore more areas next time! We only had a little over a week, unfortunately so just not enough time for everything! We did go to Jasper and loved it :) Thanks for watching!
