They all did have time to mess around with the MK2 and get some preparations, but you're right maybe I was being too harsh on some artist 2nd rounds where they counter, as those rounds would have to have been put together in like a day.

They had a couple of months xD

@@rogerioalvarez3162 not for the counters they were doing, they had to throw those together in a day, unless they seriously planned ahead for every other contestant, as none of them would have known who they might be vsing til after the seeding rounds.

i'd disagree the rules of the competition stated second devices are allowed, however i would agree robins usage of just one machine and his ability to compete at this level is something incredible to behold.

All good dude, again I really wanna apologise for my audio quality in this for whatever reason my mic was changed to my camera mic, and I didn't realise til after recording and starting to edit. I could have redecorated it but then it wouldn't have been a genuine reaction.

Firstly thanks for the compliment! I'm still pretty new to this whole reaction thing, I've been told this, but thanks for letting me know in case I hadn't been told, I was so disappointed I didn't pick this up on my first listen, especially since I reacted to robins gbb wildcard 2017 after hearing his quarter-final, that's how you know my reactions are genuine dude, I will miss things from time to time unfortunately as a result of this. And agreed, I struggled to work out "au revoir" but once I got it, I really respected that round so much more, using robins own language to say goodbye is so genius. Again this was just my initial reaction, and while I still feel robin won it for me (purely because of that second round), it made it so much closer to the point I think it even deserved an extra time, even though the competition didn't allow for that. I can definitely see how people think KBA should of won after getting all the little references KBA threw in.

I'm glad I got that, it was the only word I was unsure of!

@@michaelg6370 yeah it was definitely a more difficult one to work out, but makes completely sense when you realise it's "aurevoir" since robin is French's he's saying goodbye to him in his language.

I do agree kristof is probably a higher level looper, but where you say musician is where I have an issue, I think they're both very high level musicians, each having mastered their own styles. I do agree maybe Josh not using a second device may have hurt him as Kristofs use of his second device made his rounds sound that bit cleaner.

@@nitroreacts6599 yeah by higher level musician I mainly mean kristoff is multi genre almost more than any looper I can think of ever. Josh o is great I wasn’t trying to take anything away from him he’s got a great future in looping. But I believe the sound quality and song building of kristoff is top tier and is the reason why he won the battle.

@@colin251 yeah I can agree with that, I definitely can feel the level of experience and cleanliness kristof has, maybe I'm just a Josh O fan boy, something about his style really gets to me, although having had time to marinate on it, I do think Kristof was more deserving of the win here and in the final

I actually totally agree with you, I just didn't do the best job of articulating my thoughts here, when I was referring to "dubstep noises" I was pretty much specifically talking about Josh Os diss (which where I reckon alot of the viewers are probably getting this comment) and how he was likely talking about this sharp attacking highly distorted basses that Kristof likes to use, it's more that those types of sounds are more know to be in dubstep, but Kristofs usage of them as you and kristof himself pointed out he hasn't been just dubstep, he's used them very fittingly in heaps of other genres throughout the competition but I think perhaps that may be too jarring and too ahead of his time for alot of the audience to understand. Again I really do think Kristof deserved the win, as I said in my reaction to me as not a high level judge, this came to personal preference, and there is just something about Robins music that speaks to me more that Kristofs music does as much as I flipping loved that second round from him.

I plan to! i promised 1 at least video daily for a month, i plan to do it after that too but maybe not daily i kinda want to try some more highly edited stuff too which may take a couple of days to put together.

Yeah loopers do occasionally take their equipment and record in beautiful settings but robin is doing it so consistently throughout this comp!

Hey each to their own, having listened a few more time through editing and whatnot, I think I did prefer Josh's music but as I said in the video I think the battle moves and Josh not using up all his time in both rounds may have hurt him
