Hey mate, thanks. Yeah I love the look and style of the load lid. I prefer the lid on top look to the roller shutter and also have heard good and bad things about roller shutter style lids getting full of dirt moisture ect. If you are doing a RTT then roller is definitely the best option though. I don’t know too much about the HSP so I’ll go check them out.

The longterm review will defiantly be coming. Also if you have a watch of my recent vid upload and skip to the end I have a little test where I took it through a touch less car wash to see how much water ingress gets in.

Thanks mate. So far so good in normal rain/driving conditions. There is an additional seal kit that I also added to the bundle that goes at the front of the tub. The seal around the sides is also really good. The main area for water ingress is in the gaps each side of the tail gate. I have washed it with a pressure cleaner and I did have small amounts of water get into the tub from the tail gate gaps.

I ordered one from my local ford dealer but it hadn’t arrived at time of filming. I have it now but haven’t installed yet. :) have t loaded the lid up yet either. I’ll install in the next day or two.

Hey mate sorry for the super late reply. I kind of let everything slip. I'm back up and hoping to get some for content rolling. I didn't protect to much as the blaster didn't really hit those spots directly. I did keep the races in for the king pin bearings to project that surface. I wasn't sure how the swivel hub round surface would like being blasted but i have paint on it now and they are rebuilt so i will find out once i fill the diffs with oil. haha

Hi mate thanks for the comment and sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I think best practice would always be use a jig and get a professional to do the job. That being said i did really take my time and try minimize the length of each weld as well as kept the diff as cool as possible. The diffs are fully rebuilt now and back under the car the axles seemed to slide in to the centers just fine so im taking that as the diffs are strait (enough) haha Hoping to get back into the videos and get some more of the build out there. @@terrain1058 Hi buddy, cheers for the reply. I did end up making a basic jig to do it, I still kept the welds to around 15mm long alternating adjacently top to bottom front to back. Nice to hear the project is going well!

Yeah I hadn't either. By memory you to weld them on if you put the comp spec diff brace kit on.
