Seen to many videos of these cars doing 0-100 in painfully slow times. I believe this is somewhere in the 8 second range with a brake boost and shifting manually since the auto shifts too late and the power falls off. 245,000kms, fantastic car.

Hello, Congratulations on your new acquisition. Thank you for the good video. What are your impressions after these months of usage? I have already ordered the same kit and i'am awaiting its arrival. I am interested in how quickly and powerfully it returns to its original position during drifting. I saw, that on several occasions you "assisted" the wheel in returning. I believe this is due to the habit of using Logitech. Apologies for my English, it is not my native language.
@@Olas-GE hello, your english is great! Still using this setup however the only difference is that i have bought a quick release adapter to fit a deep dish wheel. I still had not dialled in the settings properly but now with a bigger wheel and more refined settings, it is more then capable of “returning” to centre quicker then i could physically do it. You might be able to watch some of my other videos to see this :) Definitely was breaking the habit of logitech!

A Q8400 is not upgrade. The Q6600 has 8mb of L2 cache wheres the Q8400 has only 4mb L2 cache. You degraded rather than upgraded.

Tried the Q8400 in my Dell Optiplex 755 SFF and it didn't work. Got a solid amber light and no boot. Just in case anyone else thinks its compatible they may have problems.

@@slimjim8915 had the latest a22 bios. Since my comment I have tried 2 other Q8400s and a Q6600 and none worked. From posting on Dell forums it seems some boards are not Quad compatible and mine seems to be one of them.

Recently attempted to upgrade one of these - Q9650 CPU, 8 GB of RAM, second hard disk, Dell 7470 graphics card (Okay, I know, but it's better than the on-board!). Power supply committed suicide whilst installing an OS, because of course, such is life! Bided it's time, waited 'till I threw some money at it. I WILL SURVIVE THIS MINOR IRRITATION. The Dell on the other has been thrown away.

@@Chalado-Schamane I disagree. Put aside the surging or blow off valve and spooling whistle, the turbo gives the 2JZ a slightly muffled but somewhat soothing deeper tone that makes those lower rpm shifts sound so good. Don’t exactly know how to put it in words, but just my two cents lol..
