2017 Chrysler Pacifica A/C condenser replacement
Просмотров 9 тыс.6 лет назад
I posted this video to give others information on how to replace the A/C condenser on your 2017 and later Chrysler Pacificas. The active air shutters proximity to the A/C condenser doesn't allow for even the slightest bit of bumper deformation without damage to the A/C condenser.
Wagner brake calipers
Просмотров 1399 лет назад
I installed these Wagner brake calipers on my 2008 Ford F150. There is a defect in the mating surface where the brake hose bolts to the caliper. Poor/No quality control!
My 2014 jeep grand Cherokee computer board kept on popping up about "service 4wd system" what can I do fam?
Do you need the shutter's?
It's the main case actuator...made in the Philippines...they all fail...are on backorder...and nobody has them...
Just started having this same issue. Not happy.
Any problem with stop/start system? Mine stopped working and then couple weeks after battery died. When I replaced the battery everything start working normally.
The stop start will work only when battery is full eg if u been listening to music drain the battery a bit the stop start won’t work till charge is high .. your battery is getting down a bit likely
@@aussieshootandhuntadventur4973 got replacement battery for the second time. Everything is working in order now.
Okay so I had the Same problem with my Jeep 2019 and I didn’t want to waste 3000 dollars to change transfer case, so what I did was I noticed the tires were uneven and wasted more in the inside of the tires, I changed all 4 tires and aligned it and balanced them and the light went away and has not came on idk if that’s what it was but dealership’s were giving me big estimates
They said I needed a new pto but it was to much for that especially in this inflation of a year
I live in Cleveland and I was in youngstown about a hour and 15 away and got a flat tire and put the donut on and drove all the way back home on the donut and got 2 new back tires only not the front. Well ever since that my car has REAKED like a cat piss smell. My nothing is wet but every one is tellin me to spent that money to fix my transfer case but I think it jus might be the wheels out of whack 😊
@@carloslarreynaga2515have the light came back on after you’ve changed the tires, aligned it and balanced them?
So it was most likely the tires was unbalanced and you just needed 4 new tires to get a wheel alignment?
First time ever! Im rooting for the spider
Geez, I hate the dealerships!
Look at my comment it might help
Why did the condenser had to be replaced? Details? or did you just replace it because you wanted to? Was it damaged? Was it not working? What symptoms was it having? Can't hear the video well enough.
When pulling into the driveway with snow, the active air shutters pushed into and punctured the condenser. There’s no clearance between them.
Hey I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee 2.0D I got a message on the SVC 4WD dashboard The car is driving (I don't know if the rear drive will turn on because I have no way to check) It does not make disturbing sounds - everything looks correct except for the message on the board. Do you have any idea where I can start, how can I tell what is wrong? will you help? Thanks Regards David
Try the PTU motor. It is buried under there.
@@brianost2703 Hey You can write more on this topic
Her look at my comment it might help
my tree salutes you spider, fuck those things
Wow that's crazy that the same thing happen here
With the same exact spider I swear it on god
Hey what's messing with I just had the same exact thing happen on my balcony not even ten minutes ago it was 7:59pm maybe I saved the spotting lantern but I don't know if I was to late because it was moving slow afterwards I just brushed spotted in the grass
Why did you save it, are you out of your mind?
Nice video, subscriped
I believe it is a wolf spider.
Wolf spiders don't make webs like this, they walk along the ground and hunt by chasing prey down like a wolf.
@@theamberabyss1745 that's how that spider lives up to its name.
Grass spider
Had same problem with my 2015 back 3 or 4 years ago and can't remember it was a quick fix and now it just came back on. I'm hoping it's not a rodent problem like I've had before as well.
We like that let the spiders eat them up
Do you find the problem?
Yes, it needed a transfer case motor. (PTU actuator)
@@brianost2703 thank you, ‘14 limited GC with 74K threw this light at me. ABS and the traction control light.
@@brianost2703 how much did that cost you?
maybe clean the vehicle first then start
It turns out it needed a new transfers case motor. Dealer did it under warranty.
Was it covered under the manufactures warranty? I am having the same issue with my 2018 renegade and it only has 27,101 miles.
@@phillipdominguez9392 yes it was
Lol
Wait, so you're saying it wasn't just the ground terminal on your battery after all? The battery terminal had nothing to do with it? I am just wondering, because I am getting this light as well on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler.
Low battery voltage will give you the same problem
Hi ..what about service 4*4 light come on with my jeep same model? help me what i do?
Did u ever figure it out I got a jeep too
Same
Very informative, thank you for the upload. We're looking into a Pacifica and it seems from your videos the front ends are too low. What size tires did you get with yours stock? I know some trim levels come with 19 or 20" tires. Wondering if you still had issues with even the larger wheels. Besides that, have you been happy with the Pacifica?
July 2018. Thanks for posting this. I recently ran over a boulder that put hole in the condenser and caused all the freon to leak out. I did not want to turn in an insurance claim, but pay out of pocket to have a local garage do the repair. After reviewing your video and seeing all the required work, I am going to let the insurance company handle the claim and have a Chrysler dealership do the work. I will post the costs here later.
The front of the Pacifica is so low. We think what happened to ours was, when she pulled in driveway during a snow storm, she hit the plowed snow at the end of the driveway and pushed the air shutters into the condenser.
I have same case as you. Would you please let me know how much the dealer charge?
@@dwcccnj -the dealer cost me $560.00 just to charge it up with freon. All the other work I did myself. I'm getting ready to put bigger tires on it to increase the ground clearance.
@@dwcccnj 1600$
My Kia Optima doesn’t scrape the bottom even on steep incline drive ways or drive throughs. My old Chevy impala did though lol 😂.
Lol
I hate this car and the video is only 8 sec long😐😝🖓🖓👊💥💣💢💤😠😵😳😵
Boo 👎
You don't know how to drive. At all.
ruclips.net/video/XQ1rDs5bvM0/видео.html
Driving like that most modern cars and vans will scrape something. Drive slower and at a 45 degree angle and it should not scrape. That driveway has a significant approach angle that you will have to adapt to. I wouldn't blame the vehicle for what I saw in this video.
In addition, even if you had a lifted truck or Jeep hitting the curb that fast could effect the alignment.
If you keep doing it, eventually you will stop scraping it ;)
I guess that's the point, most cars will scrape, but most cars don't put an expensive set of motorized shutters right where the bumper cover flexes. The other issue, if you're an engineer, why would you put said shutters directly in front of the A/C condenser, if you know the shutters are going to break and punch a hole in the A/C condenser? One other note, our old 2013 Town and Country didn't scrape coming into our driveway.
Thank you for posting this!
