Wow. Revisiting this 4 years later. This came out in January 2021, during this time I was engaged to the mother of my child, my daughter was 5 months old, it was supposed to be a year of promise. Due to marry, everything was on the up. Forward to December 2021 I find out my fiancee was having an affair with a co-worker, ended our relationship and moved the dude into our family home 2 weeks later to play happy families with my daughter. 2022 was a year of extreme depression, heart ache and then eventually growth for me. I became stronger, gained 10 times more confidence back. Forward to January 2025, I’m still on my own, but the weekends I now spend with my daughter are my best times of the week, I no longer feel I need anyone else. The ex and the other guy are still together with now 2 other kids. Life is a crazy rollercoaster. It’s crazy how you can like one song and as the years go on life gives you experiences which change your meanings to the song.

I relate so much to this song. I had my first crush during my grade 2 elementary days 2005. She's my classmate until I graduated from high-school 2013. Of course I admired many girls throughout my lifetime but as for my first crush, I treated her like a flower. We reconnected in 2022, that's my chance but I didn't try because of long distance. Though she have a boyfriend right now, I still admire her and I wish the best for her. "If you love a flower, don't pick it up.
