Unfortunately I didnt save any of my work. They requested me to build it and I did. They have it now so I cant take it apart to get you a diagram.

the 261 is not original to this truck. It came with a 235 originally.

When you use a dual carb setup, do you use progressive linkage, with a choke only on the primary carb? Tripower setups usually use the center carb as primary.
No both get chokes and both open at the same time. Dual carb setups are setup to provide better fuel distribution than a single carb
Wow that's nice!! Is it mounted in a 3100 1/2 ton? We're you able to use factory motor mounts for the 53 or did you have to modify them?

Awesome! I’ve got a 54’ 2- Ron with a 261. Great motor! Once when I was delivering 3 cord it started to run rough . I pulled over, popped the hood the clips that hold the distributor cap on had come loose but it was still running! I pushed the cap down and it smoothed out and I delivered the wood. Thanks for making your video.
