I am just checking out your videos as I really enjoyed your last one (A+). I love your content. I come from a none I.T. background. In fact, my I.T. Skills were poor. So, I decided to take the I.T Fundamentals, which I have my exam next week. I am feeling confident but not overconfident. As soon as I pass, I am jumping straight into the A+. My issue is going to be the materials. Reason being is... I was recommended to buy the Fundamentals Book (FC0-U61) Which I did, but... there were questions that are not featured in my exams. I bought the premium materials which lets me take free test along with an e-book. Personally, speaking I have learned far more with the exam material than with the book itself. Just for the note, I love computers, my only wish is I leaned computers at an earlier age than an older age. Once again Mr, thank you for your time in making this video for people like me. Much appreciated.
this video was very informative glad you are back. keep it up
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your experience. I have been spending the bulk of my time reading the all in one comptia A+ exam guide. I noticed you didn't mention it. Would you say that reading all 1244 pages of that isnt quite necessary, and you would focus more on what Prof. Messer and Dion have to offer?
I would say it would depend on your learning style. For me personally, reading large volumes of text doesn’t really do quite as much to solidify info in my head. However, it may be beneficial for you to combine that with one of the other resources. For example, you could read specific topics and domains, then read flashcards and use Certmaster Practice (if you have access to that) to focus on each area as you go. Good luck on your exam!!
I have passed my last 3 measure up mock cert exams with 90, 91, and 93. Would you think I’m ready Net+ exam?
Studying for the 009 version.
Great video currently studying for the Network + exam.
I have two months to study for core one... Any tips to help? I will refer to professor messer and read the book. I just need to retain info
This was really helpful man. Thanks.
Great first time video and congratulations on passing your exams.
Great video. Hope you're well! Where are you?!
It has been a crazy year for sure. I am back, though, thanks for watching!!
How's it going man?
Congrats man! This is very inspiring.
Your video showed up on my feed. And I just wanna say congrats. And thank you for the tips. I’m studying for the A+, and this was just the inspiration I needed to keep going.
appreciate the advice man
Thank you for the tips Sir. 🎉
How old are you buddy
Hi , which book should be started to pass A+ Thanks
Try paying an electrician 19 dollars an hour or a plumber, or hvac guy! Yet an IT guy making 19 dollars an hour? Im confused as hell
just starting to study for the a+ appreciate the video any updates with your career journey etc? would love to see some new vids bro
I'm in school right now for A+ and then next semester is Security+. I started with absolutely zero knowledge of IT. Its tough.. a lot of information dumps to memorize and I'm about 6 weeks away from taking both 1 and 2 exams and REALLY nervous.
Great video! I’m new to IT and just taken a cybersecurity course. I’m feeling nervous about sitting the exam but after watching this video I’m feeling so motivated and optimistic that I’ll pass. Much appreciated
“The state of the world is just too dangerous for journalists right now” he said, during an era where we have seen a record amount of journalists killed and seriously maimed abroad Amen
i'm at WGU studying for Comptia A+ and I can't tell if I'm ready for the tests or not. There's just so much to study, that even taking practice tests I feel like I don't know enough. But I'm trying to power through at least getting the A+, Sec, and Net since employers find them so important.
I'd love to hear an update on how it went for you, good luck on whatever you're studying for!!!
I passed my A+ it was a lot of work from me only being a gamer and not really digging deep until I decide to get certified my best advice get the objective study each and every one and check them off I spent a lot of hours I’m on to CCNA and I’m afraid because I don’t have the time I had with my A
Thanj you guys wish i seen this beforeci dropped 20,000 at My computer carrer TO BASICALLY SELF STUDY -_-
Thank you for the great tips!
I currently work for a college IT department as a temp through a temp agency iv been here since October last year so for about 8 months, The college is suppose to be doing budget reviews to see IF they will hire the temps which I really doubt. I like it here a lot and since I started I graduated from the same college I work at with my associates degree in IT and now studying for my A+.. I really like the benefits they offer full time employs but if i don't get a permanent spot here well I don't get the benefits sadly. I'm thinking after I find out what they plan on doing if I don't get hired ima start looking somewhere else.
Good stuff man
hey man! did you take notes while studying or did you just watch the videos? I feel like I remember stuff when I write it down and highlight it and what not. In total how much time did it take you to finish core 1? What about core 2? Jason Dion's 220-110 is 200 videos long! I am barely in video #50. Thank you again!
Im doing a course with a teacher online but im struggling with taking it all in
How long do you have to take exam & how many questions?
Thanks , currently trying to get my A+ and Network+ as well
Congrats man, just started studying for my CompTIA A+ and this gives me extra motivation to keep pushing and keep grinding!
Great video 👍
jason dion or mike meyers
I don’t know if you’ve heard it enough but congratulations, it takes a lot of dedication. And to whoever hasn’t passed yet we got this 🥳
I’m a Veteran and 41 years old. I find it challenging studying for the A+. Particularly because in the practice quiets after each lesson in CertMaster, they pull certain details that are not so surface level. I’ve been using Jason Dion, and CertMaster. I think CertMaster is not that good of a source but it is my understanding that they pull questions from so I am trying to use the videos as a base and zero in with the CertMaster but I am going to try your method. I have not worked in IT. I work security and have worked surveillance where they let me do so me IT stuff but I’m definitely going to stretch the resume and add things to help me land a job that are entry level related. Once I pass the A+ I hop to start applying to jobs.
Thank you for the video! Is this a good first certification? Or would you suggest getting the CCNA first?
I'm having a hard time finding ways to study, can you drop some Quizlet studies I can use for comptia A+?
How many skills in cybersecurity would you recommend before learning about AI?
Great video
After you finishes a+ was network and sec + that much harder?
I would say Net+ was definitely a much more dense exam, though I went into it with 0 prior experience. The difference between Net+ and Sec+ was not as drastic. There are still many networking concepts covered in the Security+ exam, so the knowledge I gained from Net+ helped a lot in getting the Sec+.
Would you recommend study mostly with professor Messer and Jason Dion? Do you think them two would be enough to pass Comptia A+?
I wouldn't only rely on Professor Messer and Dion. I would take advantage of Certmaster, if possible, to also practice PBQs. If you have a solid understanding of most concepts and technologies covered in the objectives and do reasonably well on the PBQs you will have no issues passing the A+ exams. Use logic and existing knowledge to eliminate less likely answers and make your best guess on the tougher questions.
Dude where do I go to take test. I live out in the middle of nowhere
Can take it remotely
You can also take it remotely through OnVue. Just schedule the exam on CompTIA's website and choose the online option.
@@TheNerdyCodex ohh nice dude ! Yeah that’s bad ass
@@TheNerdyCodex yeah dude studying today, not sure why I’m doing this lol, I’m actually a web developer, but wanna learn IT in general… because another skill set is smart to have. You never wanna stay stagnate in the tech field or you will get left behind
It makes me rage that there aren't more videos like this of people talking about their post game Comptia A= Interview tbh. Well made video brother!!
Thank you for the kind words and for watching!
Good shit brother. Just passed A+ working on Net+ now. Thanks
Great video! Thanks for the tips. They are fantastic. I loved the background track btw
Thanks for your recommendations regarding studying. I’m just studying now for the ITF + to begin. But I will be using your recommendations when I do my A+ exam prep
Good luck! Thanks for watching.

Im in the process of take Jason Dion's Udemy Core 1.. I will be watching more of Professor Messer!
