They're called "tact switches" I believe it's part number DSG1117. The nxs2 is almost identical in process. I actually can't think of anyway that it's different. The only thing that I've noticed different between the two models is removing the LED screen, there are different screw sets for each model, but that won't effect you on this repair.

Asio drivers work great and drastically reduce latency with x32. We've had great experiences so far.

@@wckoek Are you wanting do playback while recording simultaneously? Or are you doing a recording of a live show where it's just all your tracks at once?

@@brinnswft recording a whole band, 7-9 tracks for drums, the usual bass, guitar, vocal additional percussion and stuff.

@@wckoek use the x32 hardware to do your monitoring, then record straight to your PC, latency will not be an issue at all. We do the setup your describing all the time during live shows and it works great. Now the question might be, if you want to record one track at a time, and use your drums to help the guitar player, or something like that. then that might introduce some latency? but I have experimented with this and it works really well. Asio drivers are the best for this kind of application.

Thanks for the comment. Yes you can do multitrack playback. It's in the routing section of the console, you need to choose your channel inputs as "card"

As far as the driver. It's a little fuzzy exactly what I did but I remember that being a bit of a detail for myself. I know that I updated the firmware on the console with x32 edit over Ethernet from a laptop. I also installed x32 drivers from the behringer website. Maybe some asio diver updates as well?

Not sure about that detail, I don't believe the X32 and ableton connect in that way.

That main speaker is 80 lbs which is 32kg. Also it's more about using the subwoofer as a step up because those heavy crank stands are 6 ft tall and very hard to mount solo. Thanks for watching!

The license we have is tied to a USB thumb drive, the software can be downloaded from the martin website but you need a license to run the software. Honestly light jockey is fairly old in it's design at this point and though I still use it from time to time I would not recommend it to new users, I would recommend something like Obsidian ONYX which includes a light jockey license and is very reasonably priced.
