good you gave these a second life i was skeptical but the work came out great two things where did you get those laces and you should try to uncrease the sides i had my first beater pair start lop siding on the back out side corners so i hit them with an iron, cleaned up the patent leather and brushed the suede and they are back to looking like a million bucks
