Im 10 years old and i have been in denmark for 10 years
Salaries are not that high. You must discount the high taxes and see what you have left for rent, food, etc.
I went to amsterdam cuz I was told that weed smoking was legal. I even found full on weed bars and spent a fortnight smoking weed what i thought was legally. Turns out it wasnt. Sorry law. It was common thought among us teenagers that it was legal.
Don’t come. Stay in your country.
Thx. I think it would be cool to live there for a couple months now that I'm retired & free.🤔😃
Got it no 🥷s in Denmark
If you think the taxes are a negative, then you don't understand the value
good no moUseLeemz
Low crime rate? Unfortunately my country "gives" them criminals
Alt er rigtigt
The official work week is just 37 hours. Taxes are high indeed. I would’t say it’s free, rather say that it gives free access. Nothing is free. But we pay high taxes because our welfare system is absolute. It means that all of its citizens have the same access to the welfare goods, such as education and healthcare. Ownership tax on newer cars is actually not that high either. My grandmother's car costed DKK 2,800 a year in ownership tax, which is about USD 400.
retirement age is also high!
Yeah that’s prob a good thing though
I live in denmark and Banging one car can Take away a lot of your money
One thing not to do in Denmark is not to live because there is no nation more treacherous and greedy than them
It’s funny, as a Dane i see the high taxes as a good thing, because of all the things the average citizen gets 🤷🏼♀️
If u won’t to live in Denmark u have to be rich
I was actually in Aalborg last year, I like the doomy weather
No the weather is not bad in Denmark actually we have sun the most of the summer and in winter it snows and in autumn it rains a bit but it can still be hot and in spring it rains and there is also pretty hot weather but the reason why it is expensive is because going to the hospital is kids going to the dentist is free giving birth is free and much more good so yeah
Cheating you employer, nosy and gossip people, lying a lot, expensive apartments rent
Not too be rude but later when i was in 4th grade we had a killer on the loose😅
The person who wrote THIS MUST be American haha For sure!!
As for taxes, here’s the question do your tax dollars go to your government in Denmark? Because their infrastructure is strong and stable Americans pay high taxes too, but it goes to the feds that print the money and not the government.
They go to the state, which redistributes the money to, among other things, the infrastructure and to the regions, which administer the health sector, including the hospitals. The educational institutions are independent but supported by the state. But we as citizens have the same access to the things mentioned because it is paid for by taxes. The redistribution of the tax funds is regulated once a year with a finance law which, according to the constitution, must be present in order for the state to collect and pay out money at all.
@@Bassman2846 so overall it actually means it goes to the people and not some bank like in America? Then I don’t see a problem paying taxes and that situation but here in America when I found out our tax dollars don’t go to our government and it goes to Ukraine Israeland illegal immigrants who have no right to be in our country no longer comply to it and from what I hear on social media, I’m not alone
@@Stevesguitartraveling777 some of the money also goes to the Army, to Ukraine, to prevent refugees, and to the EU. We get some of that money back again from the EU in the form of agricultural support. The banks here make money from the interest they charge on the money they lend
You don’t need a car in Denmark…
More expensive than UK😅
Weather more worse like UK😅
That is the most "american-style" short!! HAHAHA owning a car .. well you really didn't live here - to live here is to understand it. We like simplicity, buying few but high quality items - the consumerism in America/UK is frowned upon. We see taxes on luxury as an equalizer in society.
taxes are high but in jutland and fun its not that bad
I'll take 365 days of rain in Denmark over a week in any red US state
6K??????
Vejret giver skuda gode undskyldninger til at komme forsent i skole
Hey alle sammen Danmark er blevet nævnt i medierne!🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Ja🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Well, the only reason why the Taxes are so high, is because we can go to the Hospital without paying, also the Police and Fire Department is completely free too. 🤓🇵🇭
High tax in a safe and civil country isn't a con, it's just a fact of life. Schools don't build themselves, do they? If you want to enjoy the benefits and have all kinds of safety nets, you must also contribute. Also, having a reliable public transport system and less vehicles on the road is a pro, not a con. It's not like danes are not allowed to have their own cars or something.
I live in Denmark🇩🇰
Det kender jeg ikke det der med tax
I live in denmark my hole life im danish and That is reak

Som en stolt dansker har du maget ret og god video🇩🇰😃
Ja det var ret sandt hvad hun sagde.
I live in denmark and for us its not expensive But you Can What you want
Is that earning figure a monthly salary??
Small tables?
I think using public transport instead of private cars is a good thing...everyone should prefer public transport to save our beautiful home earth 🌎❤
Bad weather, depends on you perspective, high taxes , well if something happen I can call an ambulance without paying 3k of my pocket, or having to remortgage my home to pay the hospital, buying a car 😂this one hurts the Americans pretty hard, probably this country is not carcentric, like the USA soooo well maybe is a way of not promote car usage and learn to share more, using public transport (which probably don’t suck like in USA) or ride a bicicle to work and make exercise , i know it sound alien to American, that their way is probable one of more toxic ways of life, infinite our of work, miserable pay, unhealthy food , bad driving habits, and in general a corporate owned shit show ❤
Land of the Free, they call themself, let them keep their “freedom” to themselves and dont contaminate European culture with tour trash wannabe ancient thing
bad weather is really relative thing. I live in northern germany, we have basically the same weather. So for me sometimes it is too rainy but in general it is ok(almost no freezing temperature in winter, no too hot in summer). I'd say the main problem is lack of sun, usually it's 1-2 hours a day, sometimes even 0(like today 10.06.24 - 0 sun 15 degrees celsious in the afternoon)
but really cool thing is long daylight. It's getting dark in summer after 23:00 and getting bright at 4:00 again. In Jutland i suppose even more of it
Denmark is an illusion. High taxes and horrendous cost of living. Everyone is a plug and they don’t promote independent thinking. Godless society. Although free, health care is mediocre at best. People there are miserable. No thanks.
Why do people see high taxes as a negative? High taxes improves the wellbeing of a nation with more money going back into the public sector meaning better roads, better schools and better health care systems. All these are positive. You also end up spending less money with higher tax systems so you end up having about the same amount of money in your pocket but you have a better quality of live because your nation is doing better
