I'm not allowing myself to really get my hopes up with this project ever again, but I believe it would be highly successful if it were to finally be built -- as long as it is done soon and not ten or fifteen years down the road, especially since the idea is already less popular now than it was a decade ago. I also believe that the tickets would sell out so fast that there'd be a several-years-long waiting list before finally getting your chance to step aboard and set sail. There are still enough people in the world who are absolutely fascinated -- or obsessed 🙋 -- with the Titanic for a modern "replica" ship to be an enormous success. He would definitely make his money back, especially since the ticket prices will more than likely be through the roof for the first few years. Regardless, it sounds like he's finally willing to finance the project himself instead of only using investors -- who always seem to drop out anyhow for one reason or another. I think it finally hit him that he can either stop being cheap and fund the majority of it's construction, or just forget the project entirely. Do I think it will happen? This guy has burned us multiple times with this sh*t, so I don't really have any faith in him. However, there's still some hope left in me that he hadn't manage to squash out yet, so I'm going to try to be optimistic here and just say that it's possible. It's a only a big fat maybe, but I suppose it's not 100% unlikely.
