Reminds me of the time I was having severe physical issues in swimming class. I had to buy a swimsuit that was "school appropriate" (as if being half naked in front of your peers can be appropriate in any way), and unfortunately it took several weeks to arrive so I couldn't swim for a week after class started. So the teacher already despised me thinking I was trying to get out of class. Nevermind the fact that he had me run, walk, and do exercises the whole class which I did to the letter. I finally got my swimsuit and upon trying to do what he was asking started having problems. I already felt like crap, wasn't eating or drinking well, etc. I almost passed out in the water after completing a swim test and had to cling to the side to not sink. By then everybody was making fun of me or gossiping about me having heart issues or being on my period or whatever. Except this one girl who asked me that day if I was alright, that I looked like I needed help. I was trying not to cry and just shook my head. These issues continued, at one point I even peed myself from exhaustion getting out of the pool. It just...fell out. I was so humiliated and ashamed but luckily no one noticed. I eneded up in the emergency room and eventually went to the doctor and tested positive for mono and got a slip to get out of swimming class. I'll never forget how even with a doctor's slip my teacher didn't care and treated me like lazy scum. Fast forward years later and I am aware now is much more than mono- I was chronically malnourished, dehydrated, and suffering from mental illness as well. I was never smart or crappy with that teacher, I showed an honest desire to just do what I needed to do, but I was obviously not okay and he pushed and pushed me physically to a breaking point.

Physical media is dying out rapidly. I spent two hours wandering around my local mall looking for a DVD of Princess Mononoke. EVERYONE had dissolved their DVD sections, including FIE, Target, and freaking Best Buy. Finally found a copy at Barnes and Noble.
