Did it ever reach complete reliability? I have this exact build in mind.
Can this fit ak105 styled AKs?
I built a 8” 300 Blackout as a project to shoot with my Wolfman which is dedicated to my Scorpion SBR. After taking it to the range several times my Wolfman has a new home on the 300 and is now my go to home and travel setup.
Sounds like a good setup. I bet it sounds great with the wolfman.
@@BERGQUISTARMAMENT I originally bought the Wolfman for my CZ Scorpion SBR. It sounds good on my Scorpion but sounds better on the 300 and I only shoot Hornady 190gr Subs

How is the gas blowback (Scale 1-10)?
3/10 but on hammer fired pistols it’s 7/10. 10 being bad.
Is your home a tent in the woods being attacked by cardboard skin walkers?
That sounds like a great intro.
good concept, I would try a 9mm buffer and spring, that could be the overall issue. I just built a 9mm pcc with the 8inch barrel and bcg from cmmg, my upper and lower is Fortis Mfg, I bought as a set, for the buffer I went with the ArmaSpec Sound Mitigating buffer with the captured spring. CMMG was out of the complete mags so I bought their spring inserts and bought my Gen3 pmag somewhere else. I had it out this weekend and other than the first round being a stovepipe, it ran flawless for the rest of the outing, I put the review up on my channel, check it out, I go over the entire build....Good, it has the potential to be a flat shooting load of fun.
I don’t get it, why is it that loud on a suppressor?
Supersonic 5.56
I was blinking all the while
Hey man, you don't have to fully release the trigger to fire off another round. If you didn't know that, try slowly releasing the trigger after you fire. You'll feel a small click, when you feel that you can fire again if you have more ammo in the magazine. It increase accuracy and decrease recoil.
الكتب اليمنى الكتب اليسرى ضع بصمتك الكتب اليمنى الكتب اليسرى ضع بصمتك
Funny. I came to your channel for the “ultimate home defense” video and stayed for the TX22 I also run mine suppressed. YHM Phantom suppressor, Riton red dot and Streamligjt TLR-8 (cuz the laser is fun dammit)
As a fan of the 8.5 BA in 300BLK I like what you’ve done. I chose to direct thread my suppressor with a MI guard covering all but 2 inches of the suppressor. It’s compact, reliable with subs and supers (yes ammo choice matters) Well done
Sounds like a sweet build. That was my original plan until I got the nomad 30. She is very thick. No way that can is fitting under a handguard.
@@BERGQUISTARMAMENT I bought the Texas Silencer Outrider. It’s super quiet titanium direct thread and easily fits inside the MI forend
@@BERGQUISTARMAMENTGuess he plans on shooting one mag and hanging it up. You guys have fired several mags through a "handguard hidden" suppressed rifle/pistol; yes? It can be done, but the temps. of your forend/guard will become unbearable and unshootable after 4- 30rnd mags.( especially if you prefer titanium as most of us do)
Looks like harsh recoil
Or bad recoil management.
Were you using super sonic ammo?
Subsonic ammo
You can’t stabilise both subs and supers with a single barrel, you need to choose. Given 300blk was designed to be a subsonic cartridge that is where it shines. Best go with a 1in5 twist is ideal. As a supersonic cartridge it’s pointless there are so many better options
I do think the 1/7 twist does a good job at stabilizing both light and heavy projectiles. The accuracy portion shows both supersonic and subsonic ammo were stabilized at 50 yards. The 1/5 twist definitely is best for subsonic ammunition. The best 110 gr 300 blackout preforms as good as a 77 gr 5.56 in terms of a wound cavity. I’m going to have to disagree with you on this one. I think 300 blackout performs great with subsonic and supersonic ammo. And being able to switch between the two is a huge benefit of 300 blackout. I appreciate you sharing your opinion.
You absolutely can
@@stevenwilkinson8373 your evidence is very compelling we all believe you lol
Yea the subsonic 950fps pistol velocity rounds make soooo much more sense than the 2100fps pointy ones. 🤦🏾♂️
@@lorcan2316 can’t argue with fact
I have two 300BO shorties and a 16 inch carbine. It's a fine round with the right ammo selection.
The ultimate home defense gun is the one you know is accurate, reliable, ballistically capable, and familiar. Everything else is semantics and training.

If I decide to defend my home I certainly won't be running around the woods. Let the Rascals come to you. Did you Ever see a big game hunter Running through the woods??
Hate is never pretty
I don’t think it’s the ultimate “ home defense “ as you claim. Used in the situation you demonstrated, running a course out doors with varying distance between your targets, sure. Inside a house, ( home defense) not so much.
What do you think would be a better home defense rifle?
Haters always hate
Two biggest flaws in that argument: 1. Size of home/property & layout may vary 2. You wouldn’t only drive your 4x4 truck on dirt roads.. depending on street conditions a 4x4 may prove more versatile & out preform a standard “road vehicle”
Lol. "not so much". GREAT fuckin explanation!
@@BERGQUISTARMAMENT the best home defense rifle is the one you train with
Sweet setup i love my modern series ballistic advantage 300 blackout barrel in my aero upper
Good product for a reasonable price.
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I thought your voice tempo and knowledge of the system was great. I also enjoyed the movement action and editing seemed great as well. I also subscribed. Keep up the good work. Have a great day.
Thank you 🙏
Very nice. If it ain't reliable it better at least be fun 😂
Absolutely💯
Great video 🤠👍 I have a pcc for the role currently but something similar in the works as an upgrade. I run a 16" 300aac with supers because AKs are for commies but ballistics don't lie
If it works and gives you confidence, it’s a good setup. 300 blackout is the way👍
"maneuverabilititty"
Starting the video with a call of duty zombies song CLASSIC. Beauty of annihilation is a power move, liked and subbed.
One of the best games ever made👍
“Home defense” Goes in the woods*
Obviously it’s not going to be the same as training in a confined space but many of the principles carry over. We have to do the best we can with what we have.
Also shows some versatility
@@BERGQUISTARMAMENTtraining is always good no matter where
What buffer system are you using?
Standard buffer and spring. But with the law tactical folder the buffer weight is around a H2.
Just found your channel, great content. I just subbed, ready to watch your channel grow
Awesome build too
Thank you good sir. Much appreciated.
How many rounds does it hold? I only heard 6..❤beautiful tho!
In the short mag 20 rounds. It’s hard to beat the MP5. Definitely still holds its ground even today. I am excited to do a review on it.
I want one
Sick as tits
Great video! 👏🏽
Thank you!
Why are you wearing ear protection?
I usually shoot many different guns in a range session. So I put all my gear on and leave it on until I am done shooting. If I go out to shoot with a couple mags I will just wear eye protection. So my ears can get the full experience of suppressed subsonic ammo.
Yup and with electronic ear pro in the woods you can hear the critters breathing
Does anyone make a full rail ?
Check out the m70 extended m-lok
That’s really cool
Got one of these to pair with a Kimber R7 Mako Tactical for the express purpose of becoming my house gun. Running it in the short config with Winchester Super Suppressed 147gr FMJ subsonic and got lots of jamming caused by failure to run the slide fully back. After that, I ran it with G9 Defense 126gr subsonic without cleaning the Mako or the piston and it ran flawlessly with zero malfunctions. Shooting in an indoor range in the short configuration , it was quiet enough to shoot comfortably with no ear plugs with the lower power G9 ammo without any after effects to my hearing. Just exactly what I was hoping for as a home defense platform.
You did the right thing changing up the ammo. Unfortunately there isn’t many ways to tune pistols to run suppressed. Additionally, 9mm ammo can be hit or miss. Once you find a good ammo stick to it. Sounds like a sweet home defense setup. Thanks for sharing.
@@BERGQUISTARMAMENT I wasn't looking for Hollywood quiet, I just thought it might be a good idea to be able to hear the questions the cops will inevitably want to ask me after words if I ever need to use it in a home defense incident! BTW, in TN it's legal to use a suppressed weapon for self defense.
Hollywood quiet ... What can ?
