Not that easy haha !! But thank you so much I followed your video with a bunch of pause and play but it went fine. Broke my rear glass so bad but at least I needed to change it and had a new one! It was extremely stressful ... but I made it !!! Didn't brake my front screen I was so careful ... After about a year... I finally made it ! Well done !! Thank you guys!! Thank you for the battery and the tools but also for this video , it was really useful !!

No explanation for the new screws included in the package? Are you reccomending replacement with new or are these simply spares?

A bit late with my comment , but is that a brand new rear you're replacing it with and the adhesive strips are already on it ???

Great just bought this kit off Amazon, watched the video a couple of times & replayed it whilst changing over the battery, really straight forward no hassle with the adhesive strips, gee some of those screws are tiny a couple sprang out of the tweezers but luckly managed to find them ok. Will be doing the drain & recharge so all should be well. Thanks Yontex

Nice. Not sure why it's necessary to unplug the screen...I guess so it doesn't get damaged? The only thing that didn't go to plan was on re-fitting the 2 tiny screws either side of the power socket, I couldn't get them to screw into anything, they just keep dropping out, so I ended up cutting small strip of insulation tape to hold them in place. They are hidden beneath the phone case anyway.

Thanks for the video! I would just emphasize to be careful when taking out the sticky ribbons to make sure to not break them. Makes the process a lot more difficult if they break. Do it slowly!

This video is very helpful and makes a complicated task easy by breaking it down into easy to understand steps. Until I had seen the video I was going to return the 'phone to an apple store for a replacement battery - I am now very glad I decided to try myself! Great piece of kit with very good tools!

this garbage video misses a critical step. you have to heat the glue on the front side as well so that you can push the screen out of the bezel. in the video, they make it look like with a little press it just pops out. NOT THE CASE. be very careful with this step because it is very easy to ruin the front screen when pushing it out just like i have done to my phone.

What if I forgot to disconnect the battery connector before re-plugging the screen connectors and a small white smoke puffed out? 😢 what part have I burnt out? Is it reversibile? Thanks

Great video just swapped battery on dads mobile, would recommend doing it on a plastic dinner tray incase any screws drop. And when removing the parts lay them out table as they are in the phone to remember order of screws.

Thanks for this! Managed to get my battery replaced with no issues other than the adhesive strip snapping half way through.. phone is now back up to 100% battery capacity and should be functioning like new after almost 5 years!

Awesome product for an awesome price. Saved me a ton of money by going to the phone store. Pretty easy install. The tape was the toughest part. I would buy from them again.

I did this but I was never instructed to remove the vibrator. Had I done so it would have been much easier, instead of the adhesive tape breaking.

thanks for the vidéo very easy did the repair with your battery kit everything works fine , is it obligatory to install a seal around the screen the one there was damaged if so how come there was none in the kit and where can i order one

my I phone seriel number 0682 does not match any of the replacement batteries offered what can I do?

I did this and now my screen has lines running up and down it. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it?

What's it mean if you replaced your battery and your phone turns back on fine, but the apple icon will appear and it will shut down after 5 mins or so?
