He literally pointed out on that last album that he’s not a savior. His whole point of that album and others is that he’s no better than any other man! So I get your point, but I don’t this that’s a fair assessment of Cole being more “for the people.” I do agree with most of your sentiments for sure!

this is definitely death grips' most polarizing album, even for their own fans. i love this album but only after hearing the rest of their discography. i don't blame you if you dont want to listen to anything else from them, but they have a few more albums that are more accessible and more hip-hop influenced that i think you'd actually enjoy. i appreciate your wide open mind, and i think because of that you'd appreciate their albums 'exmilitary' or 'bottomless pit' a lot.
