I enjoy assymetrical gamemodes, so I really liked this one. I really hope they contact you in the future because learning what you have, I feel like you could make an even better gamemode if given another chance. I'll be looking for your name in the arcade mode!

I would like to see how you did the coding part. I am a dev and want to try to make some game mode my self in custom games, but the "language" is so different from anything else I have used. Some insights from behind the scenes would be fun :)

Oh i loved this game mode.

When you do a better job at creating a fun, balanced experience than Blizzard themselves. With just their workshop no less.

I had more fun with the custom mode when it was available compared to damn near anything glizzard themselves made (like the awful invasion mode they threw out before), hope they give you some more chances to make some custom modes in the future.

I completely no-lifed this mode LOL A lot of fun, honestly though the things I remember being most frustrating was Eichenwalde with a lifeweaver. At that point it was a guaranteed loss and, honestly? I had a pretty positive winrate as rein without those.

see how the guidelines doesnt say it needs to be balanced. sorry but it really wasnt.

(´･ᴗ･ ` )this mode *IS* the most fun arcade imo playing about 300 games was great cactus puppy you absolutely delivered it was really really balanced (´ ∀ ` *)the eichenwalde maps and theam and idea WAS SMART buuut I feel like rein was missing a "Come Back" mechanic maybe a last life buff or a last 30sec +500hp your unstunable +20% extra dmg because HE. GETS. BULLIED. but still you did great i can't wait for the next one the let you make mystery ults is a banger btw edited: alright i didn't know you already talked about a come back mechanic already sorry I'll just watch next time i wanted... you to know i enjoyed it sorry

My experience with this mode was that it was pretty fun for the first couple of days it was out until people started to learn the optimal strategies, then most of the games either became orisa traps rein in the basement the whole game or rein runs in circles camping powerups all game. The same thing happens with a lot of the official arcade modes though, and I still got an hour or two of enjoyment out of it. I hope blizzard tries putting workshop modes in arcade again sometime

With all the stuff you mentioned that was cut due to time constraints or lack of testing, I'd love to see a revised and/or expanded version of Defeat the Demon Lord!

I didnt play during that season so i never got to know much about the gamemode. Its honestly so sick that the OW devs allowed a Workshop dev to make an official mode. I hope they do more of this in the future.

too sad it's gone forever.. they should add a new category to have those annual/special/pve Modes Available forever

Idk why blizzard still don't implement server-side code to interact with navmesh. I had same problems creating pathfinding mechanisms, crashed many and many lobbies 😂😂

yeee... I wasn't a "fan" of this gamemode, rather hater cuz of all clumsyness it has, but for single person project it is a good job!
