I’ve been looking for an easy cathedral window - love this technique. I’ve also been wanting to practice my machine quilting techniques and this will be perfect. I can do different designs in each of the windows. Also, I think I will cut the batting the square size and glue baste it in. This way, it will reduce the bulk of the fold over portion and make it easier to pink the edges. Brilliant idea to use pinking shears for those circles!

Hi Cindy, I am the one who designed the clip holder made from sock cuffs and left over binding. I believe your question to Red Pine was the width of the binding strip...it would have been 2 1/2 inches, the length before sewing together would be the circumference of the cuff plus 2 to 2 1/2 inches. Just make sure it will be long enough to go over your wrist.

  • @cindycarnes6441
