One of my best lenses

Thank you very much. 80% of the time I was using a Fuji X-T4 paired with a canon FD 50 f1.4 and the other 20% of the time I was using a Fuji X-T3 paired with a sigma 18-35 f1.8

For me personally it's the Canon. It renders colors much more the way I like them to be. But that's just my preference.

Hallo die Location nennt sich "Gut Altholz"

It’s an old manual lens. On an actual Canon camera like a A1,F1, AE1 you could see the lens to A and the camera could choose the Aperture setting. Adapted you’d need to use the aperture ring

No you can't change the aperture in Camera. Only on lens. Hope that helps

This lens is around an 80-85mm on the crop sensor. I use it often for portrait work (photography) and I love it!! Go buy one

Good idea. You get the M42 to Canon EF adapter and then you mount the lens with the adapter to an EF to Fuji X speed booster (viltrox for example). Hope that helps 👍

Wow.. I am so glad you like the colors that much 🤩. Yes I recorded in F-Log, so I had to do a little bit of color grading. Thank you very much for your comment 🙏💖

@@feinschnittvideografie8624 Since i recently bought that lens and i also use a fuji - i would just be so glad to get a little advice how you did the colour grading! I work with da vinci resolve and i´d be a happy man if i could achieve an equal result for my next video!

@@christophhimmelfahrt2748 get yourself the flog luts from the official fujifilm website. That way you can transform the log footage to standard profile footage. And from that point you can tweak a little bit with the sliders in DaVinci. I hope that helps 🙌

Thank you very much for your kind words! I should have noted, that I shot everything wide open at f1.4 🙌 unbelievable, I know! Even more when you think about how old this lens is... I already bought a second one from ebay which had Glas fungus. I opened and cleaned it. When you open a lens like this, you truly understand why it's a masterpiece 🤩

Thank you very much for your comment. I used a k&f Canon fd to fuji x adapter. No speed booster included. So it's cropped. I would say using this kind of lens at this weather is pretty safe 👌
