unwrap, lay them on a flat surface under direct sunlight. I got something similar in this condition and got them to work without issues. I didn't record a video to complain and missed probably millions of views.

heat will expand it back to form. if it doesn't off the sun get a heat gun and apply it while shaping it yourself. if you don't want compacted shipping find a way to get it without it being shipped. I know it's a pain but that's how it works.
