Finally someone with some honesty. Cheers for the test. I had the same feelings trying the katana. They should add an arcane or intelligente scaling at minimum

In the past few hours, I have been seeing some big RUclipsrs posting about "Don't miss out on this super weapon" "God tier katana" "The best weapon that you shouldn't miss" and so on and thus I tried the Sword of Night myself. The weapon is good and to make the comparison between it and Rivers of Blood fair, I used my precious Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone to get the Sword of Night to +10. But, when I test it out against a few bosses, it was no where close to Rivers of Blood. Now, I know by optimizing the build, we can dish out a little more damage from it but to be honest, the sword doesn't makes sense. It neither deals decent magic damage nor has a great Bleed buildup. The Charge Attack is slow, the weapon art is slow, the normal attack lacks range compared to Rivers of Blood and so on. I will be testing it out though my initial impressions is that the Sword is nothing but a gimmick.

I'm having an issue here, where even after I've killed Alex it says "Clear the mine of cultists" and I got to the 3 markers the compass showed me, and it's the bodies of 3 cultists I've previously killed. As in, they're already down. Gonna restart the game to see if it helps...

Looks like I got information about the achievement 'save the world? Save the cat?' The achievement actually has an additional quest, and that quest is a daily quest. So the quest will appear randomly and depends on whether you are lucky to get the quest or not.

How did you get that weapon?
