RBR in general is very difficult for me coming from Dirt Rally and WRC series. The Subaru was one of the first cars I felt like I could throw around the stage with some success. If you have any other cars you think I should try let me know because their are a lot of them in the Rally Sim Fans plugin.

Vraiment c est cool !! 🙂, en France ça commence à devenir compliqué d avoir ce genre de voiture,subaru c'est retiré du marché en France car ya trop de taxes lors de l achat en neuf. Du coup on trouve des subaru quand occasion maintenant 😢, au cotidien je roule en ford focus rs mk3 et la subaru je la garde en voiture de collection car ça côte va monter .. les éditions 2006 2007 vont être beaucoup recherché surtout la version Solbergs qui va devenir un best seller pour les collectionneurs.je pense qu'au États-Unis c'est plus facile de trouver des Subaru 🙂

@@FlannelRally Nice daily driver. I used to have a 2007 STI (for about 4.5 years), but I traded it in when I bought my 2015 STI new. I was worried that I'd miss the old one, but I actually think the new one is equal or better in every way, except I kind of like the exterior looks of the old one better. So good luck finding an older one, but I'd recommend keeping the one you have now, too. I wish I could've kept them both.

You know I actually have 3 of the Hue Playbars mounted overhead. I'm using a Simhub profile to manage them with the brightness maxed out but the videos still come out really dark. I'm not sure if it's something in Simhub I can do to improve or the GoPro i'm using to record needs to be configured to pick up more lighting.

lol, it's been a process building it over a period of time. I'm in the Military, it can be a good living with some great benefits! The downside is having to pack everything up and move every so often 🙁

It's Alcantara. My handbrake was actually not working during this time. Simagic ended up sending me out a new circuit board to replace the original one. The problem was intermittent, you can see around 2:40 mark I was trying to engage it again and got nothing.

To be honest this direct drive is on the lower end of power when it comes to Force Feedback, I just have a tendency to not hold on too tight and let the wheel do it's thing with providing me info on what's going on with the car and track. With that being said, if I max out the force on this thing it's more than I want to deal with 🤣

It's really hard to say without knowing what your budget is or what kind of performance you're looking for. With that being said, the monitors I use were priced very well and I can recommend them for mid range builds. They are 32 inch, 1440P, and have a 165HZ refresh rate. I was able to get all 3 panels for under 600 on a sale. The exact model is LG 32GP850-B. If you have the space I think 32" monitors are great for immersion and shouldn't cost a small fortune. I would start looking at 32inch monitors that are within your budget and go from there.

Yes I got the answer today. Just made a video clip and watched it. On video my POV seems same like many on youtube. Video just give a different image than in reality. In reality the cockpit is much more narrow than on video.

I'm using Nvidia Surround. In game I set the FOV anywhere from 20 to 30 depending on the car I'm in and then I'll adjust the seat position in game. This has worked for me on a few select cars but most of them I can never get to look right. It would of have been real nice to have native triple screen support.
