Its interesting to here the perspective of the other side of this. I see a lot of mistakes from the people reaching out to me for promotion. #1 the fake generic complements that reveal they havent really researched my content to find out if our niche is aligned. 2nd mistake they offer products that dont align with the niche of my channel that would lead to a lose-lose relationship. 3rd mistake they dont offer anything but the product in return for all the production costs. 4th mistake is assuming follower #s or subscriber #s are accurate. This channel Im commenting from gets 97% of the views from non subscribers. With over a million views per year thats a lot of views prospective marketing clients are missing out on if they are only looking at subscribers. 5th mistake is thinking smaller channels arent busy. I only have 2 channels and script film edit one or two videos per day because I schedule them to release months into the future. I also make amazon affiliate videos for Amazon. 6th mistake is thinking your the only brand offering a channel brand deals or vice versa. Its usually starve or satiate. You dont know till you contact people. One of my channels gets at least 3 dozen offers a month the other channel maybe only one email a month not one dozen just 1.

It clarifies and clears space. I’ve learned that each time I say “no” to any thought, notion, action, or opportunity- a far greater one presents itself very quickly. Experiences create an atmosphere for challenge which results in personal growth and character development; things we purchase are tools that we exchanged our life force for and they can help us or hurt us. Tools are required for experience. There is a balance between fulfilling needs and satisfying wants. Momentary joy of acquisition requires something grander each time to f😂el the same joy. Personally, I can say that buying something used can be just as satisfying when thoughtful prayer preceded it. American society, discards or gives away material things that would never be ,discarded in an impoverished foreign country. Americans (for the most part)have enjoyed easy credit and abundance, however the quality is terrible and things no longer are built to last or be repaired unless top quality is purchased at a much higher price. I have a 50 dollars tent that I used for years and it still works; I thought I needed a lighter tent made of dyneema and then I would camp more. This is my conundrum.😮 Wrong, even though I paid 600 for it , I still haven’t set it up. As I get older, I find that true joy comes from the giving of time to others during experiences. Your video was helpful in pointing out the differences in a purchase vs. an experience. Old school camps, never valued video games and it has become a tragic addiction that our youth have used to replace the lack of opportunity in our current society. Get a mountain bike instead and get outside beyond your comfort zone. Don’t be stupid trying to show off by taking a pic to show you almost died. Life is a gift given by our Creator despite the myth that we are by circumstance. If that were so, it would be an even greater miracle. See you on the path to living.
