My lock is working fine but it keeps asking for a firmware update. I tried to contact client support English and Global via email form, and nothing. I guess they don't care about the clients.

Bonjour, Le 3/06/2023 j’ai acheté un Abus Granit Detecto Smartx 8078. Le 6/10/2023 j’ai eu un problème, mon gsm ne veux plus se connecté, pourtant j’ai dû Bleutooth… Il était chargé. Sur l’application, il signal que je suis en mode transport. Il se trouve sur ma roue de la moto. l’Abus n’arrête pas de sonné! J’ai la carte QR code - rechercher sur le web, pas possible d’aller plus loin. J’étais obligé de couper avec un disqueuses, pour pouvoir rentre chez moi (19h). Cela ne me sens pas logique, qu’en ce qui me concerne le problème vient de chez vous !

There is increasing info on the internet of the failures of these locks. Most are due to no Bluetooth connection, and it appears the circuit board suffers from corrosion. I have one doing just that. It cost me a bomb to have my bike transported, didn't want to leave it at a shopping centre 2 hours from home. I won't trust another one of these, the headaches it causes are too much.

mine doesn't lock with a click every other time I need to lock it, which is so frustrating ((( basically, it's the same as if I hadn't the lock at all, since you (I) never know whether it'll work or not. and, yes, it's almost new, bought it a month ago.

the same light seems to be in the Hyban 2.0. But in your video about the Hyban you say its rechargeable oer USB. when the light from the Hyban is with USB charging does it works for this Urban 3.0 helmet? Thanks :)

This specific model must be the best 70 mm discus lock on the planet and if there's another one that's better I don't know which one it is but others are close like the Paclock Pro 1000 but I believe the Abus 20/70 is the best 70 mm discus lock in the world currently until somebody actually tries to make a decent lock out there that's as good if not better but until then this one is the king in it's specific size and category!
