Regarding Headbanger, when you eventually get around to seeing Momobanger (a specific version of Headbanger), know that there is a very bad "compilation" video out there. For Momobanger, a good version of it is on the "For the Fox God" channel called "Momoko ver". Obviously you should watch Headbanger in its original form first.

You know it's kind of funny. I'm looking at your poster on the wall behind that says, "Yeah, I do dance awkwardsly, and I'm having more fun than you", and I can't help but think of Su-Metal when she was still in Sakura Gakuin. If you haven't seen any of those videos, I HIGHLY recommend you check them out, because Su WAS very, VERY awkward when she danced back then. You didn't need to know who she was and you'd be able to pick her out because she was very awkward in her dance movement. She wasn't comfortable in her body I don't think and it kind of showed. So although I don't like Taylor Swift at all, that statement rings very true in my mind when I think about Su-Metal.

Nice reaction. IMO this has got to be the darkest Babymetal song both lyrically and musically. Su pulls this song of like she has been doing this type of song all along. The power of Su-metals vocals comes through on this song.

They are teenage girls who are trapped in the scary music industry, and it is difficult for them to get out of this nightmare. unless they end the story themselves, but it's much scarier than the nightmare, so they keep going deeper even though it's scary

Kid, you really need to learn how to adjust your microphone levels. There is a TON of white noise coming through and it's extremely distracting. If you can't do basic things like set your audio levels correctly, then get off RUclips.

I'm a sucker for waltzes. Apart from that, waltzes are often used for a Danse Mort, a dance with death. So using this musical genre for the nightmare story makes sense. Also, a Rondo is a musical structure that keeps repeating, so it fits a repeating nightmare perfectly. And again Su has shown us her increadible stage presence. Nice reaction. You analysed all the important aspects but still reacted on an emotional level. Well done!

SU-METAL has 4 solo songs. YUIMETAL & MOAMETAL have 4 songs as 'Black Babymetal', the cutest heavy metal around. From the 2 first albums. They used to use those songs to allow some staged rest at the middle of a concert. The 8 songs are just great. 🦊🤘

i think Moa & Yui had been sent off to bed before Su sang this scary song. No rain, no rainbow (Legend S hiroshima) is my fav solo song for Su, when you do it have tissues ready. i think its A-Kat-ski (u silent). Great reaction Agnes, Su metal is gift to all of us. When you get to Ijime Dame Zetai I recommend Sonosphere 2014 UK where BM played out of Asia for the first time and Blew the minds of 50 thousand attendees that were looking confused at 3 small japanese girls ( the girls were afraid the heavy metal fans would be hostile to them but after 5 songs they were asking for more ) rocking hard as all the other bands on the festival. Babymetal considers UK as their second home because of that concert. P.S. the music video is a blast as well, my personal favorite.

While Catch Me If You Can is brutal and adorable, this song is just brutal and dark. Check out the Budokan 2014 version for an even better performance, with the Kami East intro that wasn't part of this particular performance. Su-metal absolutely crushes it every time with this solo too, one of my favorites! 🤘🦊

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏃‍♀👹 'Catch Me If You Can' is about playing a game that is kind of like hide-and-go-seek, with some tag and blind-man's bluff mixed in. Pursued by an "Oni" which is a kind of Japanese Ogre. If not a real monster, than at least someone pretending to be one in order to terrify children into behaving. Fun times! Kawaii Metal! : ) If much of their charm is in the blending of the cute and the brutal, this song is a great example. They performed this song quite a bit in 2017, but not since. The last time I saw this one was in Chula Vista, California when BABYMETAL were on tour opening for Korn. BTW, the Kami Band members have changed over time. The guys supporting them now started on the US tour in 2019, and have been the only backing band since late January of 2023. They're all Americans.

ty for putting up CMIYC free on Patreon - I love it - and especially the Kami band which really bring this to life with such wonderful talent and showmanship (yeah...I miss them.... masks for me are pretty immersion destroying in their particular case). I prefer the 2014 Budokan version - with the intro - but this is still a stunning track , wonderfully dark. I assume (could be wrong) that this is about repetitive chase nightmares many girls seem to have. Good reaction!

⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 There are two more solo songs from Su; 'Amore' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow'. "Rondo" is a great answer to anyone who says that BABYMETAL aren't really metal. : ) And it has the darkest lyrics of any BABYMETAL song. Su has a penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for heavy music. Without having to boost her volume she can still be heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars.

As you can see this is not the usual happy BM song. It's one of the many songs composed by YuppeMetal (aka Yuyoyuppe), he's also behind Karate, Kagerou, the arrangements of Megitsune, Headbanger!! Night Of The 15 Mix (only the mix) and more new songs from latest album such Monochrome and Believing. _"Akumu No Rondo"_ (or Rondo Of Nightmare) combines not only heaviness with dark waltz and dope time signatures changes but also delicate and fragile elegance that makes you want to grab your inception kit and go to rescue this 16 yo queen from this nightmare. Temporarily title song was "Kill The Alice" so it is like Alice but instead of Wonderland she's trapped in a nightmare trying to escape and avoid some evil entity. Rondo is a musical form in which you can hear a repetitive pattern, an example of this could be the song "Blue Rondo a la Turk". Thanks for sharing this wonderful SuMetal solo and my favorite along with "Akatsuki" (live at Budokan 2014 is another great choice) The other solos are great too and those are: - No Rain No Rainbow live at Legend S 2017, heavily blocked thou. - Amore live at Wembley Arena 2016. Sasuka is having a unending nightmare where she is being chased by a faceless entity and no matter how hard she tries to escape she can not, realizing that she is doomed she begs that before it takes her life it shows its face to her. I believe this song is about fighting depression, perhaps what she is running from is herself.

I can't speak on the other J-Pop girls , but as far as Japanese rock and metal bands go. The women of Japan are some of the vest vocalists in the world, and the musicians are even better. Japanese female bands are leading the way now in rock and metal

👍Reaction. My most favorite song from Babymetal is the rendition of “No rain, No rainbow” in Hiroshima from the legend - S - Baptism XX in 2017 . SueMetal is from Hiroshima and she is almost in tears at the end of that balad rendition. Better than all the other version because of her emotion state in that particular song, location and time.
