For the record, Stallone does shoot Hauer 6 times. I saw the movie on opening day and remember the climax clearly. When it played on ABC's sunday night movie, the final gun play was cut down to two shots, most likely to make the film less violent for TV.

The Point of the movie was *(1)* when sports superstars have a slump, caring too much hinders performance. *(2)* Never belittle fans - you never know what type of 'fan' you're talking to

I thnk the movie has aged well (considering the crap hollywood are churning out now). I do find it a bit rushed.. trying to squeeze in too much. The Del Toro character was gutwrenchinly annoying with his smug silence, so there was some catharsis when Wesley punched him!

Picked up the Vinegar Syndrome 4K. My brother and I watched the hell out of this in the 90s. We loved it. It’s not a good movie but it is special to me.

I found the Warner Archives DVD at a thrift shop about six months ago. $1.50 very well spent. Fun episode gents.

This movie is a fire 🔥 underrated classic. I love this movie so much that I give it a 10. The story, cast, and soundtrack is amazing. I cried when Ziggy died. He didn’t deserve that.

Just saw A HAUNTING IN VENICE (although I've not seen the other two films). Actually makes me want to check the previous ones out now. Not my favorite of the year, but it was far more engaging than I expected.
