Although large in size, this otter is still her baby. Mom is happy to share her meal as she teaches her pup how to eat. (While at The Wharf in Monterey, we observed these wild otters and their feeding behavior. They happened to come over to the dock where we were standing to pull and eat the mussels attached to it.)
