One of the features of your shiurim that I have come to appreciate is the emphasis on relationship to/intimacy with one’s tzaddikim, with this illustration of “face to face.” Where there is distance, there is an opportunity to extend one’s will, to “travel,” to stretch and become more victorious in the process. The physical distance demands attention to processes that would otherwise be overlooked.

5:28 this reminded me of a dream I had several years ago…it was so vivid. I was in a very unholy place, full of perverted souls taking advantage of innocent souls. I wanted them to understand what they were doing was wrong, and I began singing, and they all began to sing with me, but they did not understand the words. It frustrated me and grieved me, and I began to lament and wail, and I was awakened by my tears and my longing. I felt a great emptiness, and I remained in that state as I lay there in my bed, wide awake, my heart utterly broken for the lost. That was a season of dreams for me. Dreams are so powerful. Hell is here and now.

Also, you are speaking to my heart about these “hints.” I thought I was just crazy for awhile, but this childlike wonder and curiosity seems to draw the hints out. At first, I was little over focused on it, but now it’s like an ongoing conversation between my analytical side and my creative side. ABBA keeps me company this way. Nobody else would really understand or care to know all the little salient details that guide my steps, and that is for the best! It creates a sense of intimacy and strengthens my faith in the process. It allows me to be more vulnerable with my Creator, like a little child playing in the woods, with my cape and my wooden sword.
