Kobole, aka Kikuyu Rap King is a talented rapper/musician and performer known for his
vernacular rap and urban pop sound. He hails from Nyeri, Kenya.
With his playful, witty,
and introspective style, Kobole's melodic raps reflect his deep love for poetry and music inspired by Gikuyu and African culture and traditions.
He started his musical journey as part of a duo and group in his early days, but
thereafter embarked on a groundbreaking solo career, spearheading urban Gikuyu
hip-hop in Kenya with his debut release "Andu Maine" (Let the People Sing).
