Nice and tidy. Great job
Very well done with good explanation. Thank you for sharing.🐴
Very impressive thanks
From one farrier to another, Quality work 💪 Nicely made video 😉👌
@@wadeIattwood01 Thanks
Great video
@@matthewwhiteford6841 Thankyou.
I like that video about horse shoes
By ‘back’ do you mean you’d thin the hoof wall? As explained this is only the process for bonding a shoe on and the foot used is a lamanitic as that’s all that was available. This is a process that is usually used on a compromised thoroughbred foot that’s racing and needs to work/race. The thinner the wall the weaker it will become. I hope that seeing the process was useful for you. Thanks for the comment.
I'd be more worried about bringing the toe length back on that foot if that was a live horse.
Thanks for sharing
@@travistaylor1524 glad you liked it.
What a nice shop you have! Keep the videos coming. I learned something every time I watch them. Great job mate!
Hi. The staring length is 13” of 3/4x3/8 mild steel.
Very impressive, and thank you for sharing. I've been wanting to learn how to make horse shoes for a while. May I ask if it is mild steel you are using and what the starting measurements are? Godbless and good health.
Calming, motivating, and encouraging video for all of us farriers to always strive for improving ourselves.
Glad you liked it. I love the music.
Awesome brother.
why in the hell would you swing a hammer with your thumb on the handle?...this is sinue damage incoming! also, why don't you cool you drifts? the height of the anvil and hammer handling right in the swinging motion of your head is mere insanely unsafe. as a blackmith you stand in a 90 degree angle with your right side of the hip to the anvil!
😂 safety nazi over here. Maybe you should think of a career in OSHA
Very nice. Thanks

Parabéns guerrero tú manja mesmo em fazer botinas prá cavalo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍

Glad you enjoyed it.
Wow thanks, I have been wondering about this for a long time, and you showed how this works, thank you! Nature is amazing!
Glad it was helpful! Nature is definitely an amazing thing.
Nice ‼️
Thank you for sharing this
It were a good do that! 😂 alright fella ? Been a while! I know the video’s a little timely but is that a Derrick Gardener hammer that’s been shortened/ ground down modified/well worn or is it a manufactured gardener ball bien? If so what weight? Looks about 2lb? I want one! 👍🏼
Hi Dan. Sorry for the late reply but for some reason I’m not getting notifications on these old videos. The hammer is actually a Shaun Chatterton hand made hammer.
@@farrierytuition8405 Thanks fella 👍🏼
Very useful technique 👍
Is that a horse lim
Yes, a horses hind limb showing how it can lock in extension to help them rest standing up.
Thank you for sharing
Why do you jump the toe
Because it’s the area of most wear. You jump up the toe to add extra width to counteract the wear.
Been struggling with heels for a long time, just tried this method and turned out the best heels I have ever made! Love it. Thanks mate!
nice mate, thanks!
Unbelievable skills
