Sonata IV for organ on two pianos, BWV 528, Andante. J. S. Bach
Kevin and Steve Fox at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood WA on August 17, 2024. Kevin plays the organ right hand, Steve the left hand. Both of them play the pedal part, some of which is doubled an octave lower, as if using a 16' pedal stop.

On a rainy day, we decided to see the Colorado River overlook, which is a dirt road that eventually gets onto slickrock. I wasn't looking through the camera while recording and simultaneously spotting Deb, thus the "shaky cam" technique.

Very nice performance of a particularly sunny classic (although the 8 are now thought to be the work of JL Krebs). I certainly learned them, too, many decades ago. Your phrasing, pedal work, and registrations impressed me, particularly. As Juan said, gracias por compartirlo!

Bravo! By no means poorly played. Speaking for myself, I found your slower tempo to reveal details of inner voices of the piece that I had missed when played at the usual speed. I respect your family connection with this instrument and the subsequent fulfillment you felt in performing this toccata. Col, NZ.
Hi Colin, I've heard that Gigout played it much slower than, say, Virgil Fox. By the way, Virgil is no relation but my father met him a couple times. Anyway, when I heard that, it gave me "permission" to play is slower! Note that I play this with socks over my fairly flat rubber-soled shoes. It was the only way to get my feet to slide on the pedals. Forgot to bring reasonable shoes. Regards, SF.
