Howdy y'all! Just wanted to take a moment to share with y'all some really exciting news, and be transparent about what it means for my channel. Also, I swear this is new news from my last video. I did not intentionally plan on contradicting myself two weeks apart, but it is kinda funny how life works sometimes!

Project Time | UV Resin Keycaps

I am finally diving into a medium that I have always wanted to try - UV Resin! This video is less a tutorial and more of a first-time-use documentary. I wanted to capture my mistakes and how I troubleshot them when first diving into this. I learned a ton during the process and I think it is important to show our mistakes when learning something new, because we can learn so much from them and ot...
Resources to Overcome INTERNAL Resistance

We all feel it and hear it...that little voice or feeling in your gut that says you aren't good enough or that don't want to look stupid trying something new. I have been plagued by those thoughts and feelings nearly my whole life. These were also accompanied by remarks by people around me, which led me down a path of self-doubt and imposter syndrome. "Why are you studying engineering...nerd?",...

We've Evacuated | Hurricane Ian

Howdy yall! As the title implies, myself and my family have evacuated our home due to Hurricane Ian. I simply wanted to put this video out because it may be some time before I get to upload again. It is still too early (it's Tuesday at the moment I am writing this) to know exactly what the overall impact of this storm will be. However, I am prepared to help my family, friends and community reco...
DIY Aprons | With Leather and Metal Details

This is a special video this week. We are making my brother-in-law and soon to be sister-in-law some really unique and stylish aprons as wedding gifts. We are diving into leather working for the very first time, and with utilizing some rivets and eyelets. It was a blast to make these, and I love that these are not traditional looking aprons. Rather, they fit the cool, laid-back style that my br...

Social media can create a strange perception in our mind of how our creative spaces are supposed to look. I recently did a few minor changes to my work space, and wanted to share with y'all what my space actually looks like behind the camera. I use my small space to crochet, sew, craft, edit, film, game, work, and more. I have slowly built up my space into something that works for me, especiall...

Welcome back to the Crochet Cafe! I know it is still a few more weeks until we kickoff Autumn, but if you are like me then you like to plan your decor ahead of time! This is a great beginner friendly project and is also a great stash busting decor item. I go on to mess up this pattern by making a simple mistake early on, but I wanted to show you how you can adapt and overcome it without necessa...

I have repaired many old radio receivers. If you did not have access to a new volume potentiometer to fix this noise, or because of the age and specialness of the device, you preferred not to replace it with a new part, you can fix this problem with two drops of general tool lubricating oil. Fix it inside the volume and turning it to the sides several times. I am Alireza from Iran
Great video. It is always good to save these vintage gems from the landfill. Good job.
Its a bad idea to try and clean a pot with something that wasn't designed for that purpose, that auto product could have dissolved the insolation on the wires shorting it out and making it useless!
Appreciated. This video is one year ago, no lattest videos ? What happened please.
Appreciated please.
Very nice. Seeing this channel for the first time. I have subscribed this channel to learn from the young lady how to repair old radios. This was icf-9550w, let's see what next radio will be. Regards.
so pretty
The best trick to remove control knobs without breaking them or your nails is to use an old sock. Cut a split down one side a few inches... slide the split under the knob... twist the sock around a bit to tighten it around the knob... and pull it off. You'll be surprised how much power and control you get. DeOxIt5 control cleaner is the best for volume control I think.
Hands on is the best way to learn. Well done Meg!
Oh thank you! I just found this same model and had the exact same issue and this fixed it up perfectly. 🙏🏼
Where the pattern😢
Useless
Como fazer ligação para captação de melhor som ?
Thank you 🙂
Thank you for this tutorial. It was helpful and enjoyable to watch. 💗
It’s a beautiful congratulations
What is the finished size of this bag, please?
The things with what looks like a filament "fuse" are actually incandescent lights for the panel.
Are you sure about those being 'fuse' shaped lights for radio scale? On my icf9550 the last light went out and id like to repair
These turned out really nice! I just finished pouring my first batch of keycaps. I didn’t use UV resin, so I’m curious how they’ll turn out.
Omg. I have same radio. Same problem. And I remember that mine "HAD"LIGHTTS. Going to check those also. Thanks for your video.
thank you so much! i just finished making one for my cat! i have tried making other jumpers for him but he doesn't seem to like them, this one he doesn't mind at all!!
Really a Tinkerbell! 😂❤
Do you know how to crochet an Eevee crochet ( 6 month )baby hat? I’m totally new at this and I’m trying to find a pattern. I also need it to have ribbing on the bottom? I’m sorry for not knowing the correct terminology . I just want to make a cute hat for my granddaughter and I am CLUELESS at crocheting.
Wow❤
Thank you! This has been a great help! I’m almost done with mine.
Is there a written pattern that we can have for later use? I need stuff written down so I can refer back to it.
You can spray the volume control without opening the radio by putting radio on its back and pull vol. Knob off and spray down the shaft and let gravity get the cleaner in .work the knob back and forth. Repeat if needed😮
I can't download the pattern.
Cade a receita
You did very well! Good luck going forward!
The SONY ICF-9550W is the model I love the most. But now it has been rebuilt, but on the outside it is still a classic model. Thank you for showing me the repair.
Nicely done, Meg! Strongly recommend that you look for a cleaner that is specifically designed for pots (not going to spam you with brand names). They're a little pricier, but well worth the performance difference, and won't harm plastics/carbon tracks, etc. And hey, nice Sony radio!
Can u make this with thin yarn?
i wish pattern was in description to better help follow along
Very nice sounding radio lots of tone and bass glad I found one at goodwill recently
This cleaner for car Air Flow Sensor only. You'd better buy CRC Quick Dry Electronic Cleaner
Love it! Appreciate all the details and your helpful hints! I’m going to try! I crochet too! Always on the go! Perfect bag!
Looks very nice and neat. I wouldn't just do the inside hems with a straight stitch, the risk of fraying is enormous. Simply do a fake overlock stitch using your overlock foot, then you have the zigzag stitch and the straight stitch next to it in one go. Eliminated the problem of raveling and still only sew once if you don't have an overlocker.
so cute
FRONT face and body part is much confusing 😢
Ottimo lavoro! Bravissima.
Great video. you should get contact spay for electronics, some say that wd 40 works, but I don't know it.
Can you cut the fabric out with pinking shears and not have to clip the curves
You would still need to clip your curves😊
Hi, schönes video, gut erklärt von einer schönen frau, mehr videos von dir, thanks
My grandmother had that same model Sony . I got it after she passed away. I love that radio. It has great bass, a good tuner and gets very loud. It also had the loud crackling sound when turned it on and the volume was erratic like yours. Followed your instructions and it sounds like new. It was an expensive table radio in the 70's ( $50-70) . Great job Meg, thanks
hii ! i am kinda lost while making the body in cream. should i turn everytime ? because it doesn’t look like yours at all even tho i’m doing everything right i guess
Omg
recommend this for cleaning & lubing switches & potentiometers (volume/tone controls) available at Home Depot .....
Hermoso. Thank You!!
will this work with thicker yarn?
