Beautiful garden 😊
Thank you.
This is beautiful thanks you; just wondering, does the pump make more noise than the water sprinkling?
@@CoralBalmoral you can’t really hear the pump at all
Love the view from above 🌴🌴
love the garden at this stage, still some months to go!!
It's looking fantastic x
Thank you. I just wish it would stop raining!
Thanks for sharing
Love this garden
Was nice to see Mr. Fothergill's seed trial, as we have them here in Australia. Thank you for taking the time out to share it with us.
Thanks for sharing.. lovely
Thanks for visiting
Glad you enjoyed your day in our garden. Was nice to meet you both❤
@@tropicalhellesdongardenuk2991 Yes, we both really enjoyed your garden. When we got home our bananas looked tiny by comparison! Hope you have the weather with you on your next open day.
Wonderful ❤
Thank you 😄
Thank you for posting this, I am just about to start my journey into greenhouses.. ordering what looks like the same as you..
@@TheGhostUK666 Greenhouses are a lot of fun and give you so many more growing options. Good luck with yours and thanks for watching and commenting
Beautiful❤
Thank you! 😊
I recommend it to everyone
Garden is looking beautiful, well done both of you 😊
The whole garden looks great but the ensetes steal the show. Well done to you both.
Thanks.
Absolutely amazing garden, the tree fern looks absolutely stunning. It's mad to think that you lost the garden on that bad winter. I watched the video and was absolutely devastated for you both, but the garden has come back bigger and stronger and looks fantastic with you both. Well done you two, plenty of inspiration for us fellow gardeners ❤
@@traceyrowlands1220 Thank you. We’ve got full sun predicted for the next three days so hopefully the annuals can catch up a bit. They’re very behind this year, especially the ricinus. Hope all is well in Wales
@@uktropicals my ricinus is so behind too, they are only about 8 inches high, they were monsters this time last year. It's a beautiful day here today 👍👍👍👍
It's looking lush and fantastic
The jungle is coming along nicely! Where’s the footage of you putting it in the ground 😂
Thank you for sharing. Beautiful garden ❤
Thanks for visiting
The garden looks great.
Your garden looks amazing well done and thank you for sharing it 💐
Thank you for your kind comments.
Take the rocks out of the bottom because of perching effect. The peat is very water retentive maybe cut it with third large perlite and third course sand.🙏🙏🙏
Omg thank you so much for this tip!
Figtrees love sharply draining soil ….that being said, they do enjoy “wet feet” but they seem to need inorganic things such as potassium silicate .
Awesome vid thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️

I typically use chelated iron with fish emulsion.
Love the video. Musics great too. Well done
Love the atmospheric music ! Well put together
Thanks for watching and commenting. I really enjoyed making the music and constructing this video.
Amazing video! I can tell lots of work went into this one. I love the feeling that it evokes.Very eerie.
It’s a hidden gem of a nursery, well it used to be , but everyone seems to know about it now 😅 I found it by accident some years ago when I popped over to Spalding to see the in-laws
Fantastic thanks for sharing Leslie. The dahlias are looking on point.
Looks great. Your Dahlias are further on than mine!
I only photographed the forward ones! I’m in for a wait with a lot of them
Wonderful beautiful blue❤
Yes. I can't think of any other plant with a similar colour to it. It looks better in real life, a real stunner.
Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed watching ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
This nursery is well worth a visit. Incredble plants in a beautifully laid out garden. Some unusual and rare plants to be found at very reasonable prices.
Lovely .. apart from the bamboo regrowth issues!
Yes that bamboo return was a bit of a surprise. We want to have an arid style border there but that will have to go on hold until next year now. I don’t think I’ll have any bamboo in the ground again. Pots only from now on!
The temple looks great. Well done! I love the term army of annuals. 😊wishing you a warm summer. From sunny Wales.
Must be amazing to have a scale standing next to plants. I'm a big fan
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
The garden is looking great! We had extreme winds this year too. I had to give extra protection to my 6ft Chamaerops Humilis, having survived the 2022 winter (one of the heads died), this year as soon as the fronds started to appear they were blown dry and brown by the wind. Lost a small Chamaerops Vulcano due to the extremely high winds this year.
We’re quite lucky here in that the garden is not that exposed. Sorry to hear about your plant losses. We lost all of our chamaerops in the previous winter
Great video, i too lost my pink china this year, it must of been down to all the rain and poor drainage for me.
Sorry to hear that
Quite surprised you lost Colocasia Pink china , is your soil quite heavy and not free draining? After the that bad winter we had in 2022 i now make sure i do more cuttings especially on Salvias and have extra plants that are boarderline tender as backup in the greenhouse now
You are correct. I’m sure it was all down to poor drainage and the wet weather.
I really love your garden and your videos. I’m learning such a lot !
Thank you for your kind comments. Hopefully the sun will make an appearance soon so we get some much needed warmth!
@@uktropicals my venture into tropical gardening is in it’s first full year and it’s a steep learning curve. English cottage plants are easy to fit in anywhere but tropicals tend to need much more space so I’m already thinking of widening borders !
Fantastic garden. I have just checked my cannas and all look ok
That’s good because having to throw plants away goes against your natural growing instincts as a gardener
Looking fantastic😃Have you ever had a Salvia Amistad come back after winter? I love them but this is the 4th summer ive had to buy them in again
Not yet! It came back but weak 2 years ago but this year absolutely nothing. I’m convinced it’s more about good drainage than temperature for some plants. The pink chinas really don’t like sitting in water. This year they went to mush. I think at the end of this year I’m going to lift as much as I can as buying replacements is an expensive hobby!
Beautiful garden.
