you were throttling too quick in the lines, what you should do is kill the throttle, focus on the line, then once youre on the proper line, apply throttle. the way u were doing was making your lines improper, you could also have a risk of your back tire losing traction if you accidentally throttle too much mid turn. If you did it the proper way, you would have had less speed behind the car. then all you simply had to do was apply the front breaks progressively this would have bought you time to react to the car’s turn and adapt better to the situation by either coming to a stop or going from the right of the car. you basically throttled into the car. also use both breaks.

You’re lucky you didn’t take a head on right there. But then to continue ridding like such a douchbag is flabbergasting. You didn’t even have the situational awareness to see you were coming up hard on a car that was clearly decelerating at an intersection is just insane to me. Then to pass on the left like that instead of the right when the vehicle was clearly appearing to be making a left hand turn… Even bicycles are unsafe for you and the community. Best mistake I ever made was having a crash on a low powered bike. On my 125cc (UK), I went round a corner that I went round every single day at 30mph, which was about right for that corner. However, just a slight bit too much lean, confidence in a corner I took every day, and a pothole that had appeared overnight sent me low siding. I'm glad I wore gear, Im glad I could fix the slight scratches, and I'm glad that it happened at a low speed and early on in my biking career. I've ditched any desire of driving recklessly or owning a sports bike, and now I enjoy the ride, at a slow pace, taking in the scenery. Its much better than ending up on the floor.
