This was a fun episode! Saw the subbed version âšð€ I loved the animation they put into it. The song got a little repetitive by the end
Subbed is definitely the best versionð. The English dub has certain parts edited out of it. Lol yeah, all that singing was a bit much ð

Unfortunately I've heard of this happening to a lot of actresses especially during the I want to say the 50s or the 60s or maybe in the 90s or in the 80s of people trying to take advantage of them manipulate them into sleeping with them so they can get a role in a TV show or a movie don't get me wrong it's gotten a lot better now but there was no excuse for that kind of behavior back then
It's so unfortunate the way these men took advantage of women. Sickening honestly. Hopefully, nowadays things are moving in a better direction

One of our favorite horror anime. It's so nice to find other people that are a fan of pet shop of horrors. Every time we mention this anime other people scratch their heads and say they never heard of it lol.
It's an interesting question, and I think you're right in that there's no clear answer for characters in a world that doesn't know superman or superheroes in general.

18:01-18:06 Ooh I remember seeing + loving Black Swan in theatres (havent seen Carrie yet...) and I thoroughly enjoyed this ty! Can see someone writing about the tragic element of her story. Hate that I can't find it on Netflix >.< (EDIT: 3 minutes later.... I found it! âš The ending definitely was a mixed bag, it was absurd at one moment when the eye takes a tumble [like lollll] and then- I didn't expect it to be so upsettingly visceral @ the very last ten or so seconds. I'm FINE. This is FINE. Lol! jk TY it was really good. Food for thought about ytwomen, the spectacle of violence, autonomy, bonding over and libidinizing harm especially to racialized bodies like the jujube guy was brown to me, and lots of isms. Oof @ the R slur.)
The eye takes a tumble made me laugh way harder than I was expecting lol. I'm glad you watched it and were able to take a lot from it!
Also side note the jujue be guy (James Duval) I believe is multiracial. His dad is mostly white with some native ancestry and his mom has mixed ancestry with French Vietnamese. He does have quite an ambiguous look to him. He's also been in Donnie Darko!

I haven't watched yet BUT I love this movie. I remember watching it when I was a teenager and enjoying it. I re-watched last Halloween and it still held up. It's crazy but also very entertaining. *haven't watched THIS video yet*
