Thanks for the music Skip.
Genius!
To be filed under:- Did not happen.
Ah the memories
how did he manage to play himself poorly?...
I laughed for five straight minutes at Bruce’s delivery of, “That…F**ING idiot! Boris f**king Johnson!” And Richard’s reaction
Never Tim, Graeme or Bill would pick a fight.
The best part of the song!
Paul deserves a biopic. He has lived quite the life. Gives "The most interesting man in the world" a run for his money. He should be portrayed by John Goodman.
Egg! He said egg!
This really was like the Chapo Trap House of 2012
I still hear Ben's "Sounds Promising" in my brain every day for new stuff
At the shops
This interview is nothing short of amazing! So great that Mr. Pitts was interviewed about one of the most iconic guitar riffs ever recorded.
IT'S LIKE when Marin Recorded what's going on, the horn player was warming up for the intro and the tape was rollin...when marvin said he ready, the guy said let's go Marvin said i already got what i wanted ,the rest they say is history! the hook on one if the biggest songs ever recorded..MY GIRL.. Robert White was just playing riffs just warming up..Smokey said! whats that you playing ? he said what? play what you played again..he said do that for the intro..the rest they say ! is HISTORY!! The most recognizable guitar riff of all times! Charles skip had a Robert white experience! never know when magic will happen in a recording session. SHAFT! that guitar timeless, Issac was genius off a single note of G! LOL!
Shout to my uncle Wah Wah Watson at the beginning of this clip and Skip!!!! 2 legends!!!!!!!!!!!
Those goddamn Homo-Jesuits! Thank Jeebus for Gail and her libido delivering us from danger.
I think this song started a whole new genre! I dunno - but I heard a lot of copycat wah playing after that. Props to Skip for hitting on that.
Awesomeness 🎉
I'm getting a pilonidal cystectomy in 3 days. DO NOT wait to get this looked at. If you have a bump or constantly weeping thing near your tailbone or anus, go to a doctor and get it looked at. They can flair up, close, "travel" to a new point in your skin to release the pressure, and then repeat the process. Some people wait so long that their ass looks like swiss cheese and always will. Get it looked at.
I've had mine for years with multiple flare ups, just got my surgery done recently, it took almost 3 months for my recovery because it was over an inch deep and wide. I've heard of cases where the sinuses can reach your spine or organs. Thankfully, mine never moved just continued to get deeper; I got a gnarly skin graft now though.
Just one of the best pieces of music of all time. Never gets old, just a delicious tune
Where the hell did all the other story videos go? The carjacking? The drunk friend? Trumpet? A bunch of DP videos are suddenly gone.
Idk, Man. It breaks my heart tbh. When I was in college I used to listen to that one "Sorytime with Paul" Playlist over and over...
@@truskoysusaventuras yeah.. me too.. 6.6
Ele é incrível na guitarra!
You cite Sir Mark Kermode.. ...& yet, a critic freelancing for the UK's most-notorious radical _chic_ news outlet, "the G" actually cited this upload to be literal to his job - in contrast with a Bollywood actress of [relatively underreported ]British citizenry. And yes, I said 'freelancing' - so he also worked for "The Torygraph" on the very same beat.
When soul music ACTUALLY had SOUL!!!!!
I was expecting Bill to be the one who hit him (with a black pudding?) but when it comes out it's Timbo and Graeme I think - I never thought Tim had it in him! I was used to him being depicted as a coward in the series, but my word!
my mind is BLOWN
Dear God this film looks awful
This feels like WWE career mode cutscenes
STAX Guitarist Michael Toles was the first pro musician I met.I was in a band with his younger brother drummer Ralph and we were rehearsing at his house.M.T. showed me the Cry Baby in question...
Turning jnto the fly lmaoooo
The new Orson welles right there .

Didn't this guy make a video doing 30 hits of LSD?
Yes
@@johnlennon9638looking back at the dude's channel. He seems like he suffers from meth psychosis. Talking about gang stalking sometimes. And like. He's still trying to milk that LSD video for attention
whats the name
@@catherineh399 just look up "30 hits of acid"
I met Skip in the early 1970's in Washington D.C. when we both had a lot of hair and big hats with a feather. Amazingly I saw him a day or two later play at the Kennedy Center with Isaac. Years later I saw them both again in Alexandria Va playing and looking well. They both passed after that. Good dude.
We're all here for such a short time and sometimes special dudes leave us too early.
Awesome
Kudos to Skip the guitar player!👍👍👍👍👍
I am a 74 year old Vietnam Veteran, Pitts guitar work with the pedal on the Shaft LP was outstanding. He did a great memorable job. I still have the vinyl LP now. I bought me a new LP record player combination from J C Penny and the album still sounds good. I have had that vinyl album over 30 years. RIP Mr. Pitts. I hope you are in Heaven.
@horacejones.........I bought the 1971 UK 45rpm release on the Stax Record label - banana yellow in colour, with the infamous 'clicking' fingers logo displayed in a black box on the left-hand side. [This was the 'standard' 3min 15 second version]. I also bought two copies of the film soundtrack LP. But even better, and after several weeks of searching I managed to acquire the extremely rare full 4mins 34 seconds long album version 'single' 45. [This edition is lemon-yellow in colour and the 'clicking' fingers black box is replaced by a light blue one to denote the difference]. A year later, I added Joe Bataan's very creditable Latin version of the song.
@@thesoultwins72 You haven't lived until you've heard the best version of them all, Sammy Davis Jr's cover. Okay, it's not that great. But it's fun to listen to.
I just recently listened again and followed the guitar through the song. I love it, it's bad ass, and I want to play it myself, lol!
Even the professional actors in this are shit.
Even if they aren't in the same room, they could've edited and paced the dialogue way better than they did
Aston Martin Socialism
lol I just watched a documentary on Robinson and he literally drives an Aston Martin and lives in a huge country manner
LOL! Yeah, I remember the documentary you are referring to. 😉😉🤣🤣

That black tar was likely infected blood. Glad he had treatment for it.
Ya know, I miss the old days. Just all of the guys together. I love the new days too
love it. might I ask what deal he's referring to here or is he being creative?
