Warning for yall would be township while worth the investment is very expensive IDK how much I exactly paid for building upgrades but I'm pretty sure it was around 4bil at least Part of that money was made by township (selling stuff you get from the trader) but it's definitely not making you much of anything early

the entire game is just a spreadsheet lmfao. this is a VERY niche game for a very niche and small group of players that enjoy this type of game. While there is nothing wrong with that...I just can't see this type of game ever getting popular.

Beware if tour starting this game for the first time. There is a task in Town(normal) that requires (25 Bird Nest Potion I), (25 Generous Cook Potion I) and (25 Controlled Heat Potion I). If you don't save those you will regret it. You won't be able to finish it until you reach Herblore 71, Even then it's a pain to get the 25 of each. I stopped playing because of this. I attempted to use console commands to cheat them in but the instructions on wiki don't work and I couldn't find info make it work. Other than that I though it was a decent semi-Idle game

I appreciate the guide, but I was expecting quite a few things that were far more basic. I started minutes ago & found your video as a 1st hit. I don't quite understand what the red countdown marker is under the skill, it seems to be refreshing, so I'm guessing some kind of stamina for doing the same thing. You cover items great, and a lot of direction for what each category covers. I'm trying to keep my comment constructive, because I feel you did well, but what I'm trying to say is that I found this hoping more for a very simplified way of understanding the basic way the interface works & what to go for for getting out of the starting block. That being said, it does seem pretty simple & if you were to go for another guide I think it would be nice to explain the trophies, which I think are levels in that category & how the total unlocks a new tier (I'm thinking that's right) and maybe an overview of expansions for players that are truly new & considering getting an expansion from the start & if that could help. Maybe also take an angle of "If you wanted to 'just be a mage' (the game does / does not work like that) . . . which it seems to be very much like Runescape, but I still am not sure if multiple skills from categories work at the same time.

Township is a massive cost sink. For anyone reading this, DO NOT grind for your first 100m GP just to drop it on a township town hall. It is not worth buying town halls until you've maxed out just about everything else in township. But I do recommend maxing out everything in township before spending gold on anything else beyond things like auto eat tiers or unlocking skills if on adventure mode. Your cost to repair is too great for town halls to be worth it that early, you make a ton of money selling scrolls you trade resources for. Think of it this way; trade post gives 49.5% reduced costs when all are purchased. You can make upwards of 70k food for example per hour. That's ~105k per hour for that one resource when traded, closer to 115k when you purchase the cheapest food scroll due to all scrolls costing 1 resources less than sell price by default (i.e. 19 food for scroll that sells for 20 gold or 500 food for scroll that sells for 501 gold.)

Game was far more deep than I was expecting, in a good way. Hope they keep adding to it. Video did a great job of explaining why you should level up some of the skills.

I think they need to adjust the exp of the abyss, its 3 times slower than normal.

I finally caught up to Into The Abyss! Finally beat Impending Darkness today followed up by Into The Abyss which was luckily super easy. Abyss Realm is crazy! Your videos definitely helped me get an idea of what I should be going for.

i just got all the dlc haven't played in awhile kinda want to do hardcore so i can get all the achievements but not sure how hard that is

if you like the POG mod I recommend you to install the Reaction Port Pack. Isaac reacts to items of other qualities. Install Improved Cargebars mod too. It tells you when Isaac is ready to shoot if you have a charging attack.

There are some mods I'd suggest investing into if you want to continue playing Isaac. The first being fast reload. It makes it so that if your playing on PC the game reloads a lot faster. The second being item descriptions mod (can't remember its name off the top of my head), which helps you understand what each item does better since some of the descriptions in game are terrible. Lastly, a character mod, and that's "The Sheriff". Adds in a character that plays kind of like the Gungeon default character and is a ton of fun.

Secret rooms can not border the boss room. Stitches gives invincibility frames right after the teleport, you can use it to enter cursed rooms for free.

I would recommend trying to get Golden/Real Platinum God on one file, then get all of the DLCs. The hearts are in 4 groups (at this stage of the game): Red Hearts (take containers, reduce deal room change when depleted), Soul/Blue/Faith Hearts (don’t take containers, don’t reduce chance of deals), Black/Evil Hearts (like Faith Hearts, but deal 40 damage to all enemies in the room when depleted), and Half White/Eternal Hearts (doesn’t reduce chance, adds an extra hit to a Red Heart container or the last non-container heart to be depleted, adds a container when the floor is cleared and the half heart isn’t depleted or two of them are taken) Challenges don’t let you get any other achievements than the one they’re designed for. I’d recommend doing Waka Waka first, just to get a grasp of what a challenge is like and also for its reward. Lastly, Deals are in two categories: Devil Deals (take red hearts, have offensive items) and Angel Deals (cost nothing, one item can be taken, more defensive, only spawn if Devil Deal rooms are not taken). The earliest you can get a Devil Deal is at Floor 2.
