New Music
This represents a new chapter in my writing and playing. Everything on the rhythm track you hear was played through a Roland gr33 guitar synth, (piano and bass) drums from drum genius.

Church came to me this morning. Some mornings the music that comes out and where it comes from is a complete surprise. I suspect the presence of God in my life might have been more involved in this one, although God is always there. Lol. I unapologetically must share the presence of God. Please understand!

Not so “Softly”, just having fun messing with a back beat and my pseudo rock sound. I abandon the form some, doubling up the harmonic rhythm on both the A sections and bridge randomly, allowing for more of a free approach to the tune as a whole….

The gift of a spiritual dialogue, comes to life through the human and out of the hands. I am not doing this, the power of the universe is. Some may not understand, most will! This tune came to life in minutes, recorded so I don’t forget it. More important so I don’t forget what God’s and angels can do and the blatant gifts in life!

Revisiting some 80’s pop or something like that which lives in my musical memory bank. It is a very difficult time in my life but find comfort in being able to tap into the musical landscape that lives in my brain. Maybe it brings me back or reminds me of a simpler time. Michae pavone, another Ibanez gem the am50. Just blowing over a loop; I use my looper quite a bit to put together compositions. Often consisting of two or three sections so i can hear how they work together!

Playing original tune with GR300 guitar synth, sporting the just woke up look...I love this instrument but it rarely leaves the house because no matter what I play it sound like Pat..I guess that's why he owns that sound.. So great playing, one of the best in the PM spirit I have heard and thats really difficult. Never had a GR300 but I had other Roland/boss products that emulated it, have you tried the last SY1000 GR3000 emulation?, some GR300 users say that its 99% here, what do you think?

Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew, have done much more with the GR300, than the Pat Metheny sound. Listen to King Crimson's Discipline album and Adrian Belew's Desire Caught By The Tail.
Dont agree with you, although great players, none of the ones you mention elevated the GR300 to the category of a complete instrument capable of the expressiveness and richness of an instrument like a guitar or sax like Pat did or Michael does in this video.

one thing about those guys - the hex fuzz for em was actually in the guitar (not the 707 though) so you won't get "other part" of the sound the 300 can make with a GK pickup
