I know a lot of Kiss fans criticise this album but I thought it was great. I prefer this Kiss to the later heavy metal version of Kiss.

There are some decent songs on it. Overall, it's a good album, just not a good KISS album. I feel the same way about Dynasty and The Elder.

The album is very good I enjoy it. In two years they will make creatures of the night.Two different sounding albums.

My very first rock n roll record. I remember EXACTLY where my 7 year old self was. To this day it was monumental.

Compared to what would come years later, things like Hot in the Shade or Crazy Nights, I think Unmasked is a fairly good record.

I find it funny how Peter Chris is on the album cover, Yet he was already out of the band by this point.

I still say that cover STINKS!

I love Pete and I love KISS... but he’s more of Swing Big Band than true Jazz drummer.. he was an avg Rock drummer and we all know this but what he did w the Boys in the early days was pretty cool.

I remember this commercial. Went out the next day and bought the album. :) It remained my fave KISS album until Revenge.

I know Peter trys to be Rock and Roll because of the KISS thing and his fans want him to still be the KISS drummer but I think Peter is much happier playing Jazz and Swing. Peter is good at this, yes a bit off but still for his age he is doing pretty damn good.

I was in high school in 1980, and how embarrassing to be a fan of Kiss... little kiddies going to concerts and this is the follow up to dynasty? 1980 was an incredible year for rock, unfortunately Kiss was not a part of it
