My name is Chris and the focus of this channel is to bring you, the viewer, kayak bass fishing content. I am located in Orlando, FL and will be highlighting the various lakes this area has to offer. Many of these lakes will be smaller lakes with somewhat limited access to give you a glimpse of the bass fishing I prefer. I am also a huge fan of metal music, so be prepared to be subjected to that in some way.
Test driving a new swimbait, the RAID Japan Osakana Swimmer, at a stingy Lake Ivanhoe.
I got my hands on some of these swimbaits a while ago but since they are very subtle swimming boot tail swimbaits, I waited until we got some cold weather to start tossing them around. This was my only action for the day, which is nothing new for me fishing on Lake Ivanhoe as of late.

Big bass chomps down on a big swimbait. First day out with the WCZ Tyrant 8.

The last couple years I have been dabbling with various boot tail swimbaits when the water temps drop. It wasn't super cold this day, but when I got two Working Class Zero 8-inch Tyrants in the mail, they just looked too bite-sized to not start tossing around immediately. I have one of the 10-inch versions of this bait that I have thrown a little bit with no action, but these Tyrant 8s are much...
Taking a break from the swimbait grind to actually catch some bass using shadbaits.
Просмотров 148День назад
One of my all-time favorite conventional lures when the water temps take a dip. I will definitely throw jerkbaits around this time of year, but if there is a decent bit of wind to deal with I tend to go with shadbaits for ease of purpose. They are generally a smaller downsized bait with that tight swimming action that can be just as deadly for cold water bass.
Sticking with the Tiny Klash for fall swimbait bites.
Просмотров 10014 дней назад
It's finally fall, consistent cooler weather has set in, and daylight-saving time has ended. Cooler weather for me means the beginning of swimbait season, specifically throwing hard baits. However, there are swarms of small schools of baitfish everywhere and a major threadfin shad spawn is about to go down, so bass are still keyed in on smaller baits. I have found that the Tiny Klash and other ...

Getting a jerkbait bite going as the temperatures finally cool down here in Florida.
Просмотров 19021 день назад
Dusted off the old jerkbait box and set out to catch some bass. This is always a colder water specific bait for me, so when the weather finally cools off, I get amped to toss these around. Since we are in the beginning stages of fall and fish are keyed in on threadfin shad, I am usually starting with smaller sizes. Generally, though, big or small baitfish present, I always find myself grabbing ...
Evening bite on a new lake in Windermere.
Просмотров 12921 день назад
Had a few hours one evening to drop into a new lake and try to catch some fish. There was a ton of grass and lily pads, so I grabbed a punching setup as well as a stealth blade chatterbait to toss around and cover some water. It took a bit, but the bite picked up as the sun went down.
Starting to get a reaction bite in the summer to fall transition.
Просмотров 90Месяц назад
Moving into fall and I have not been having any luck throwing swimbaits, so it's time to pivot a bit and mess around with some reaction baits to mimic the threadfin shad that bass key in on this time of year.
WCZ Citizen 7 putting in some work in shallow hydrilla.

Throwing some big baits around as we move into fall down here in Florida. I normally focus on deeper grass edges, but today I felt like tossing the Citizen around some super thick shallow hydrilla and got rewarded with a nice bite.
New Mattlures shad gets my first swimbait bite of the fall.
Просмотров 103Месяц назад
Plenty of wind with cooler water temps leads to the fall reaction bite getting kicked off and I love it. Not too much activity today, but I managed to catch one throwing a new multipiece shad swimbait. I picked up this Mattlures shad to test out something different from a Bucca bullshad, and while it gets bit, I still won't be replacing my bullshads any time soon.
Back-to-back jig bites at Lake Underhill.

I spent a few hours tossing swimbaits around hoping to come across some active bass, but the consistent cool weather we have been having down here in Florida still hasn't kick started the fall bite. A jig with my new favorite trailer, the Raid Hira Tailor, saved me from another skunk.

Back to Teneroc PUA to explore a new lake.
Просмотров 118Месяц назад
It's summertime, the fishing has been brutal, and I make the trek back to Teneroc to get a little variety in my fishing. Today it was Lake B, which is a slightly bigger lake than the spots I have been mostly fishing at Teneroc. Same deal though, finesse fishing and smaller presentations get me bit.
New favorite neko rig worm, the Jackall Long M-16.
Просмотров 112Месяц назад
One of my new favorite takes on an old classic is using super long worms for my neko rigs. It started with the Deps 13" kincoo air worm which is a thick meaty presentation to target bigger bottom dwelling bass. However, I stumbled across this Jackall M-16 which, while longer, is a more finesse daily use neko worm. It's 16" long but super thin and as is evidenced here, can be used to target bass...

Great video!
Much appreciated.
Lake Underhill has been a grind since they sprayed the lake.
The only way I have caught any fish there since they sprayed has been dragging something on bottom. On the North end by the airport there is that large eelgrass flat that is still there and the water clarity is a little better, but it has definitely been tough. I always struggle on lakes the next year or so after they spray.
My name is Francisco, and we met by the lake, now let’s talk Orlando fishing.
Big bait for big bass, and small bait for small bass, but either way, its fun to catch largemouth bass.
Can’t really hate it when the bite is on. You have a good set up but as for me, 6 inch sinks seedless works well for me , on these Orlando lakes.
No doubt my man, it's all about what works.
That was a nice 5.8 oz bass man . I you been having problems catching bass while it's been cold there in Florida ? I heard that it was like in the low 40° Degrees Temperatures there ?
It gets tougher with the colder weather for sure, but this is the season to catch the big ones.
whats your setup? im just getting in to throwing tiny klashes and big baits.
For the tiny klash sized glides, I am using a Low Down Customs Workshop medium light swimbait rod. It is rated for baits up to 3 ounces, and I have that paired up with a shimano metanium 7.1 gear ratio reel. That is spooled up with 18lb Daiwa J-fluoro. Holler back with any other questions and I'd be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
@ thank you 🙏🏼
Killarney?
Ivanhoe never seems to produce good numbers I say let’s get back to that lake in Windermere. I think that could be a hidden gem.
Ivanhoe is exceptionally stingy. My buddies neighbor showed me some pics of big bass that came out of that lake in Windermere, so it seems like it could definitely be a hidden gem. I'll be back there soon.
The ole faithful TK, have you tried using the G-Guard wire weed guard for the TK, it works very well in the grass with the deep lip
I always forget those exist because they are always out of stock when I look for them. I'll have to get my hands on some to try.
Great video and great channel! I’ll definitely subscribe
Much appreciated. Thanks for watching.
What was your water temperature? I am in Kissimmee and the water temps are still 74 on Tuesday 11-19-24 and the weather change has not changed yet until this morning for the first time. Unless you are recording this on 11-21-24 I do not see the drastic weather change yet you are experiencing. Great video though.
No idea about the water temps since I don't have any electronics. May have been misleading, all I meant was it was a cooler than normal that day. Overcast, windy, and since I had to wear a jacket, to me that was a colder day.
Crankbaits and speed worms have been my go to as the fall Florida bass begin to feed on the shiners, can't get enough of the top water blowups too. Tight lines!
Sup brother, you ever want a new friend to fish with let me know! I have a yak, but I prefer my 14' canoe with a 2.5hp motor on it. Happy to show you some legendary spots in the area!!
Sounds good, we should meet up one of these days and drop the kayaks in somewhere. Let me know.
Nice. You have a private lake that you actually have permission to fish.
A very rare occasion, but it happens once in a while.
I see you are sneaking on lake concord.
Always sneaking onto Concord my guy.
Nice job. Underhill rocks.
It definitely has its moments.
I love when I get actual quality fishing videos from real fishermen recommended to me on RUclips. That’s a hog brother, way to go!!
Appreciate the comment, thanks for watching.
Citizen always pulls in some fatties.
Hey could I message you about getting into fishing. I’m hoping to take my 7 year old son and possibly 5 year old daughter. Thanks!
Absolutely, shoot me an email, cramptonc01@gmail.com
Is that vegetation still super clumped up right outside the boat launch area? Last time I was at Underhill I could barely get my trolling motor through all of that thick stuff.
I think it was mostly cleared out. It was crazy thick there following the 2 hurricanes, if that was around the time you were there last.
What kind of trailer was that? Nevermind Lol i just read the description. Are you using Mend It on them to make them last longer and save a few bucks?
I am not, because the soft plastic on these is super soft and they get completely torn to shit past the point of using the mend it. I seem to only have luck with that stuff on fixing smaller rips and tears.
@@anarchyfishing476 let me know where to send you my formula. It's so much better and cheaper. I found some stuff that's stronger than mend it by itself, but my formula is way more forgiving . I'm known to start chopping up baits out of a brand new package before I even find out what the original action is. Lol! I can't give you the formula , but I'll be more than happy to send as much as you want whenever you need more for free.
When getting quality fish like that back to back in the fall, you know you're dialed in.
I can't claim any level of dialed in this day because that was the only action I had over four hours. I can give credit to tactical bassin though, because they are always touting using jigs in the fall when you need to slow down. I rarely use jigs because of how much grass all our lakes have, but Underhill is pretty barren right now so it works out.
@anarchyfishing476 giving credit to Tactical Bassin just means you truly are dialed in Sir! 😎🇺🇸💪
Nice job!
yeah buddy nice slob man!
Ever tried the Double Dragon Loop Knot?
Never even heard of it. Been tying the palomar for line to baits many years now and always been happy with it.
@@anarchyfishing476 Palomar really is the best knot. for everything and the easiest to tie. for soft jerk baits and glides Im' really having more success on a loop knot. but just found out about the double dragon it seems more solid than the traditional. I guess I'll find out.
@@secretbassrigs Let me know what you think after you give it a shot. I'll have to look into it more.
Also, I always use a snap on my glides, so I get that added action which I am assuming what you are getting with a loop knot.
@@anarchyfishing476 so far so good. Looks great on braid too.
Nice catch at the kayak 🛶 man . I am praying 🙏 for your safety doing this Hurricane 🌀 buddy .
you have good content and good editing. I have to say it looks like YT is shadow banning you. let me guess. you are conservative? I am too. but I'm not really worried about being monetized. I hate YT and Google management. nothing worse then destroying the rep of something good.

It was some excitement on an otherwise slow day.
Good job chasing those schooling bass down.

Cormorants are the most aggressive or the dumbest IMO.
I have yet to have a cormorant or anhinga grab my lure. That's funny because I thought they were the smartest.
@@anarchyfishing476 they have great eyesight too. They are smart. I was just projecting my frustration the two times they tried to eat my Krocodile Spoon when surf casting for boiling Bonito near Santa Monica, Will Rogers State Beach, during the last EL NINO. I had to use my vintage "Endless Summer" hoodie to wrap around each one to get the hook out that day. Sorry for not elaborating more. I think they're way more admirable than penguins and seagulls. That's for sure.
@@secretbassrigs I figured it was based on an incident. I have always been impressed that I have never even fouled one casting all around them.
@@anarchyfishing476 I'm guessing its that these beach cormorants were dumb or very aggressive. maybe both. I have had ducks take cut bait. but these were private lake ducks. They were definitely dumb and aggressive. But yeah, I guess t was just traumatized and this video triggered a flash back. your'r right cormorant's aren't that bad after all. I hate being a hater.
What lure?

@@anarchyfishing476 that osprey knew his/her swimbaits! They're way up there in the spirit animal world. Im pretty sure my spirit animal was a small house sparrow looking for a place to rest on my boat, in the middle of my local reservoir.
@@secretbassrigs Ospreys are definitely badass, especially that one, because as soon as I tugged, it dropped my citizen and didn't end up ripping it to shreds.

Orlando series where you go down the path of discovery at the various public bodies of water in the area. Lake Formosa, Rowena , and Sue all private lakes. I did appreciate the dock fishing on Rowena. However maybe change your description to Orlando series on bodies of water I sneak onto.
Oh come on man, there are public parks on Formosa and Rowena. Private lakes become public lakes when you have a place to legally park and drop the kayak in. I appreciate that you are probably the only person to ever read the video descriptions. Looking forward to you calling me out more in the future, because I will never stop sneakin'. Thats one of the main perks of kayak fishing.
Lovely hook removal 😂😂😂
Net, Net, Net! Don't lip em with treble hooks.
You are probably correct.

I will keep this in mind while I'm out there dodging lightning strikes.
@@andthentherewerenone812 but would he still have a paddle? 🤔
@@secretbassrigs these are the real questions
@@andthentherewerenone812 I knew a guy that claimed to have poached a salmon for dinner before ever landing it. He said it was hit by lightning when it jumped, and died instantly. Why god? Why?! 🤦♂️
Reminds me of the time I lipped a 26lb. Striped Bass way too soon, from a float tube. It hit a 9 inch suspending Strike Pro jerkbait, and as I was attempting to remove the hooks in order to release it, it shook its head and the last treble just barely caught me on one of my finger pads. Though the barb just barely hadn't gone passed the skin initially, as I carefully tried to pull it out the striper started doing death rolls, like an alligator does when it has something large that it is trying to drown. Of course that barb almost went through my finger because of it. The only thing I could do was to lift it completely out of the water and hold it down on my lap. Since it was so big and still fresh, because I brought it in so quickly where the depth was only about 20 ft and I was afraid id lose it or break my line, I had to literally fold it in half to get control over it. Because I was pretty sure there were nerves involved, I had to go to the ER to get the Treble hook removed from my finger. Ive been using lip grippers ever since LOL!
That sounds worse than all the times I had a treble stuck in me. Now I know if I go up north to catch stripers to make sure I get lip grippers. Appreciate the lesson.
It’s really pretty there. Nice video
Much appreciated

I stopped doing my fishing channel because the GoPro's overheat so much. What is the small worm you were using in the pads? Looks like a Berkley Power Finesse worm on a Charlie Brewer spider slider head, 1/8 ounce?
5 inch YUM dinger, it's the standard senko I use.
Good one for the middle of the day in bright sun!
I like fishing Underhill. Have done well some days and others not so much, but that is fishing.
Underhill can definitely be a grind. It's usually pretty stingy for me. Lots of pressure on a small lake.
