I’m just seeing this clip today.. My wife and I were at this show and Joe was sick with flu and he talked about going to the E R that day or the day before. You can see the box of Kleenex on the floor close to him. When they took their bow at the end he was clutching a little garbage can

How come most of your vids have Comments turned off? Is it cause you have em set as "made for kids?" I really liked the Most Recent, Thela Hun Jijeet from the Horseshoe Casino Hammond IN 11-30-24 show, that was the danceable finale. I figured someone would catch that while I danced. Great show. Feels strange....i guess nobody knows what the others do and want....everybody's is hoping somebody would take the lead and shows the way....or would lead it to the end....

Seeing Chick and John playing together is musical heaven.

The band cant keep up. The drummer is awful.

Chick always looks like he's doing physics or chemistry when he's thinking about the next riff. "sulphuric acid? a liter? H2O? ammonia? a kilo of sodium ? mix? stir? heat? A quote from Red Baron? PLUTONIUM?!!??"

To slow i think, and I miss the "Phaser" that he did on the original Mahavishnu Orchestra. Saying that, I saw him in 1976 in Oslo with one of the first "SHAKTI" concert's. And I was sitting beside Jan Garbarek Terje Rypdal and other Norwegian Jazz... And we all just were sitting there as 😮 this! 😅

John looks really uncomfortable, completely out of feel. Victor and drummer get lost and drummer playing in 4/4makes turn around seem very awkward he is upside down. He is playing this like John Bonham would. Billy cobham owns this song.

FYI, at the time of this recording (2017), John hadn’t been “Mahavishnu” for about 35 years or so …

Mahavishnu was way godlike to me 1970-74 then the guitar trio - yow. Took me decades to get slow. Weirdly, I was just listening to "Between Nothingness and Eternity" an hour ago.

С почтением, уважением и со снятой шляпой частенько слушаю гениального Chick Corea. Он для меня живой, как и Jan Hammer. И здесь не стал исполнителем, а предложил своё видение клавишной партии. И басист поинтереснее многих других. А вот великому и гениальнейшему гитаристу не мешало бы за пятьдесят лет самостоятельно, без помощи Mahavishnu orchestra придумать парочку модуляций, с десяток клише и вензелей, поработать над разнообразием и обогащением звуковой палитры - как это получилось на альбоме Visions Of An Inner Mounting Apocalypse. Привет из России/Советского Союза😅
