Best of all time
Also, I question the leadership because that place doesn't even exist anymore. Was it built on man or God?
He would never have the success now he had then. Culture and society has changed so much.
INSPIRATIONAL
It's great to hear Dr. Roberson's sermons.
Amen!!!to God be all the glory ❤
2 years before Dr Gray came back to face the music.
Sing. On. Angels. !!!!
Unsure if TD is still alive, but if so I gotta wonder what he thinks now….praise God
Me and my dad were at this game. This year started out with a lot of promise but the wheels completely cone off at the end of the season. They ended up losing to Mississippi St and Tulane in the last game and that costed them a chance at a National Championship. They ended up playing Nebraska in the Orange bowl though.
Dr. Roberson was a greatly used man of God. He deserved the double honor the Bible says is due to men like him. Tennessee Temple University and Highland Park Baptist Church are no longer in existence today. They left the area owing three million dollars. See, they disrespected the man of God and the bears came out of the woods and ate them. Just like the children that disrespected Elisha. That said, I met my wife of 34 years at TTU in Dr. Porters Old Testament Survey Class. I also found God’s will for my life there in chapel. I will always be grateful to GOD, Dr. Roberson and TTU for what I left there with and learned there.
I read one of his sermons in Revival Fires. It was nice to listen to one of his sermons on video. I especially like how he weaves stories into his sermon. You can see that he had a lot of wisdom. I pray that I can be a wonderful witness for Christ, driven by compassion.
Any idea what the name of the church is this and also of the lead singer?
21:48. Who could forget this run back?
Yep, I can still vividly remember that silence that you hear on this video.
I was there and on the other side of the field. I saw him catch it, blinked and then he was in the end zone .
Amen 🙏
Wonderful glorious matchless sufficient infinite marvelous grace marvelous grace, I need that grace to pardon and make me whole grace Marvelous grace, Flows from above with infinite love marvelous grace, grace God grace, grace that pardon and cleanse within Wonderful grace, grace, God grace Grace that is greater than all our sin Grace Grace God grace flows from above with infinite Love Amazing grace How sweet the sound That saved a wretched like me I once was lost but now I'm found Was blind but now I see Grace, marvelous grace Flows from above with infinite Love Marvelous Wonderful glorious matchless sufficient infinite marvelous grace..
Thanks for uploading. I miss the old Bellevue choir.
Amazing Grace that saved a wretch like me.
Spent three years at Maranatha Baptist Church in Okinawa (1979-1980 and 1982-1984) under preaching of Ed Gibson. Needless to say, I miss it very much. I'd greatly appreciate if you would add many more of his sermons to RUclips.
Great having this video, I am from TTU. '83 class.......Dr. Lee was the real deal
Hard to believe they used to let games end in a tie. It's almost worse than using because it's almost like you played for nothing.
This arrogant and wicked wolf in sheep's clothing is a cult leader. He is a hireling. He has no clue about the Bible. He teaches lordship salvation. He is a hypocrite. He and his apostate sons are the biggest jokes to step behind a pulpit. The creeds are the most pathetic and disgusting people i have ever met.
Dirty dirty dirty hit on Kent Austin. Par for the course.
What great eyesight he had for 87
The great doctor Lee Roberson what a man a true man of God he preached he loved he cared he had a great vision it is often said the only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision dr. Robertson was a man of great vision he was a lovely man he was a wonderful man he cared about people he had compassion compassion unlimited compassion for children compassion for adults compassion for the disabled passion for everybody passion for souls passion he had great vision love people caring about people a great preacher you felt like you were almost like you were sitting down with Moses I am totally serious about that he was a terrific man I graduated from that school I started out in 1976 in the Bible School graduated eventually from the seminary dr. Cravens was the dean of the seminary at the time I remember when his wife was killed in that horrible accident he was recovering but he still remains of being at that seminary I used to say I wanted to be buried next to dr. Lee Robertson what I love that man I care about that Jr Faulkner oh my goodness those were the good old days gone now practically gone forever gone forever no man is willing to stand up say this is wrong and this is right no man is going to do that anymore excuse everything and we look over everything awful terrible it is especially in this nation we need to stand up for the right uphold the right but this way this politics stuff this politics stuff is killing this nation all the lies all the deception everything there is no leadership everything rises and falls on leadership and we have none not at all in this country anymore how awful how awful how awful helpful God help us all pray pray pray pray that's all you can do and stand up that's all you can do
You speak like you need some help. Mental illness is a real struggle, and I pray you get the help you need. I can feel for you, Dr. Lee is my cousins grandpa. He wasn't good with kids as I remember. Side note, your writing is next to illegible. Using punctuation( commas, paragraphs, periods ) is required for the reader.
I want to praise the Lord Jesus Christ for Dr Roberson and many like him. Up where I live in Notheastern Pennsylvania we don't have any soul winning churches and I've always blamed that on the fact that a GARBC calvanist bible college is about 35 mile up the road from where I live . It used to be called Baptist Bible college of Clark Summitt PA. but now is called Summitt university . Most of the churches around here either get there pastors from Summitt university or Cedarville Bible college which is another GARBC college. Our churches don't go soul winning nor do they have bus ministries nor do they preach on the power of God nor do they fast and pray like Dr Roberson did. So pray for Pennsylvania and if your a soul winning pastor come to Berwick, Bloomsburg , Danville Pa. and others around here and start old fashioned fundamental soul winning churches.
Beautiful harmonies...wonderful words...this blessed my soul
44:33 I've found Theon Greyjoy.
Great sermon.
I wish there were a better quality video of this. It is the most beautiful version ever recorded.
Here's a trivia question: Who was LSU's offensive coordinator this season? If you look it up, that's cheating. LOL
Lynn Amadee is my guess
Mack Brown.
This season, 1982, LSU had the team to win a National Championship. Or, at least, compete for one. During the past several years I worked with Mike Montz and Tim Joyner, both players on this team. They both said the problem with LSU at that time was not everybody played their hardest every game. But, when you have a defense where 10 of 11 starters are drafted into the NFL, that say's something, especially for that era. This team will always be one of my favorite. The true freshman class from this season were players that graduated high school the same year as I, 1982. One of the back-up running backs, Karl Bernard who played at Catholic High, I played against our jr. year. I had followed Dalton Hilliards career at Patterson since our sophomore year. Another good running back at Patterson during Dalton's career was Jerry Butler. Butler graduated in '80, I think. Went on to SLU. Walker had a good running back who would have played on Saturdays had he not tore his knee up. Kenny Abbott was a very good athlete and just recently passed away from pancreatic cancer. The state of Louisiana produced a lot of good running backs and football players from that 1982 class.

It is a blessing to see Mina share her talent and it will touch your heart. After listening to her sing you may feel like singing the rest of the day. If you ever get a chance to have fellowship with her, it is a promise it will be a sweet one. Keep up the good work sister. Love and prayers, Janet Kaffenbarger Urbana, Ohio
Thankyou Lord
I ve been looking for some game highlights from this year for a very long time. thank you very much for posting
Suzy.. Thank you for your comments. Let me say that I do not believe that little children go to Hell. Children who do not reach the age where they can understand do not go to Hell. The Bible clearly teaches also that God is not willing that anyone go to Hell. He has provided a way of salvation to every man. II Peter 3:9; Romans 10:13; Matthew 11:28; Romans 10:13. God's love is seen throughout scripture and He has provided a way of salvation. John 3:16; John 10:28. Hell was prepared for the Devil and his angels, however, when man rebells against God and will not receive His way of salvation, then man must pay the penalty for his sin. However, he does not have to, Jesus paid the price on the cross of Calvary so that every man has a way of salvation, all he has to do is to accept this free gift. Robert W. Boofer
I Thess 4 - The Rapture - The 2nd coming is in two phases, the rapture in Revelation 4 and the Second Coming in Revelation 19. He comes for his Saints in Rev. 4 and He comes with His Saints in Rev. 19. 144,000 Jews will witness during the tribulation and a great multitude will be saved. I hope that answers your question.
Praise God for Dr.Lee Roberson
I finally watched this game 32 years later. Now I know why we (LSU) didn't win, turnovers.
Beautiful music
I was there the night he preached this. I was just beginning my deputation as a missionary to Bolivia, South America. If I am not mistaken, it was during BIMI's 35th anniversary. BIMI was started in 1960 and this video is from June 1995.
Well God bless you brother
