Throw in some random sumi-e stuff and whatever random filler for a big enough database. It's just really bad gotcha, that only works when you don't know enough about AI and/or history of art.

I personally just do flats by separating them into different layers at the start, I have the art layer, then I create a layer folder for the colours, in which I do those separate layers of flats, and then, onto each layer( named like" background walls" or" sky" or even " skin" )I add new layers to put the real colour, some shading and effect if needed. was just colouring a comic book cover when watching your video

To correct that guy its actually 99% one artist and the assistants are mostly doing minor things like posing to be used for reference and maybe fill in blacks and thats not all mangka either i hate when westerners try to paint this picture that mangaka are just this army working on pages you dont die or have terrible health from having a team

Not everything an artist gets is from other artists though so you deliberately only trying to copy what another artists is just you copying there established ideas which is why art school instructors urge artists to be organic

I'm relatively new to recognizing and appreciating specific comic book artists so this video is very educational and very useful to me as an aspiring artist! Out of the ones mentioned here, I gravitated towards Dan Mora's style the most. Strong, angular lines and shapes but not too boxy, perfect imperfection with the linework as you mentioned, his work gives off a sharp, clean constructed look without looking too stiff or rigid. I love it!

The ego paradox is definitely my biggest hurdle. It kept me from growing in many facets of life not just art and comics.
