@@Homegrown_Motorsports niice yeah I guess newer vag cars have the updated clock spring connector. Tried to put a 2012+ beetle wheel and air bag on my rabbit and the connector wasn't correct.

Ran the same intake on my CC as well. It does fit the Tiguan, just slightly off with how the bracket fits by tue battery/filter

@Homegrown_Motorsports ahh so it's the bracket around the air filter that's off makes sense, thanks for the info I'll probably buy some cheap eBay one

Beautiful in that side. Would love to be able to afford that side of island if I ever get stationed there again.

Initially it started off with like a locked steering wheel upon start up. Would happen occasionally. Then would happen more often after so many key ons. Then it would pop a red steering wheel on the dash and the steering would be really really loose. Turn on next start up the steering would stay locked. Some people’s problem will start with a yellow steering wheel and then go red. Will also throw a code in the J500 module. I think that in the ABS section when you scan with VCDS. I have not gotten the j500 code cleared yet. Will need a ODIS scan and WiFi or the dealer to reset that for me.

It’s still throwing a code in the j500 module. So in order to clear that it needs to linked up to Odis/online to clear it proper. But the basic reset is side to side and you can drive again.

Overall steps might be the same but slightly different. Looking at that year, looks like would be the same

I never paid any attention to the orientation of the blades. Since the install it’s been good.

The big ones there in the pic are vossen cvt 22x10.5 et40ish 245/30 tires and about 5mm spacer up front to clear brakes

Izzz to weak for dat. Ended up using 3 jacks, one to support and engine and 2 to maneuver it into place. Was much Easier than I thought it would be with the axle cup off and trans mount off.

At least when I lived in Tampa there was a beach to get to and prettier sites. San Antonio was nicer as well. But, El Paso is the dessert. Reminds me of Afghanistan.

I moved an hour south of San antonio, farm land! It sucks but nice! I miss the east coast, Connecticut. Was stationed there for a little and I miss it everyday! Seasons and weather was so much better lol

I do notice the SC whine more. I’ve had it for a while now so not sure how the feeling is as to what it was with a k&n drop in with the JHM pipe. Going to keep the JHM pipe as I tossed the stock one already

@@Homegrown_Motorsports understand, that a shame... still lot of those cars on the roads ( here in EU.). Whate I worked in a scrapyard I destroyed an entire golf 1 GTI which is pretty rare... she was perfect condition. I don't understand peoples who throw aways thise magnificient cars !

Same same. Around the 73-78 but around 84ish it’s smooth again. I’m going to rotate me tires and see. It say for a long time a while got and had gotten flat spots on the tires.

Not as yet. I’ve been driving it and it’s been doing well. Fingers crossed it cleared itself but we know that never happens. I’ll be scanning it again this week to see. I did break the little purple secondary locking clip on the 3 wire connector to the rack. I’ll probably order a new harness to replace it.

@@Homegrown_Motorsports Yes a lot. The Ultracharger connecting tube moves the throttle body close to the airbox so I had to cut the 034motorsport tube to fit.
