I'm an intermediate bassist still in Kenya. Why do you use headphones in such recordings by the way?
When recording, I play back the music and monitor the bass through an interface and thus the headphones. The interface also sends the audio to the camera. If using your phone to record video, you can record the bassline this way and sync it to the video later.
